That museum was impressive to say the least. The narration and cinematography are of the highest quality. WELL DONE!
The Weasel at 3:30 was built for use by the joint US/Canadian First Special Service Force in Norway. That original mission was abandoned. The Weasel was used in its amphibious capacity to land troops on Walchern Island as part of he First Canadian operation to clear the Scheldt Estuary.
Seats and steering wheel in the dingo were angled to give the drive better view and control as it could drive as fast backwards as forwards.
The skinny tyres on the old offroad stuff is always interesting, they just sink the wheels through the mud to the hard ground under it
1:48. Trafficators were banned in the 1960's. They predate this vehicle.
The British Matador artillery tractor would be an interesting, but forgotten vehicle for a future project. Perfect for desert conditions the Afrika Korps found captured examples superior to their own equipment. Even Rommel used a captured AEC Command Vehicle, based on a Matador cab/chassis.
Great video! I love to see the trucks, tracks, and cars that the various militaries used in the past.
3:28 the weasel shown is a regular M29. The M29C was the amphibious version.
One interesting thing is the diamler dingo was so liked by the Italians who captured it in north Africa that it was put into production in Italy and was used by both sides during the war. The way to tell who produced it is which side the door is on.
My compliments for your unbiased content, recognizing the merits of each vehicle, regardless from which side of WWII.
Thank you.
Awesome video my friend.these are sum great vehicles.cant wait to see more .thanks for sharing
This place looks amazing. I love the logistical and engineering vehicles.
The Daimler Dingo had angled seats to allow ease of reversing. It was almost as fast in reverse as forwards, allowing for rapid retreat without turning around if enemy forces were encountered.
Phanomen was a marque from the company Robur and probable had 50 hp not 15.
Amazing to see the SPA
A excellent job and thank you for presenting this "Never seen before" WW2 soviet military vehicle summary. Do more!
Love from Trailer Park USA
Please cover all the automobiles in that place
Thanks for translation ~ Content is done very well!
really cool, i like this Type of Vehicles so much!
Sick video thanks 👍
First vehicle of your list. Where do you see independent suspension in the front? It is a normal axle.
Great video. Keep doing wonderful things.
The Otter version was the better of the Canadian GMC I'm building the model of them both for going to a show this year the Otters a massive thing with the bren gun etc I do like that Italian artillery tractor that's nice! Always liked the the horchs
Well done.excellent job.
whoaaa Kubinka and the new park, that is a very nice and verry complete collection, maybe the best of the world, certainly about German vehicles.
Random fact: the most powerful vehicle in the US army was the truck (logistics)
Seems to me that the narrative of a British Dingo Scout Car has been misplaced while showing a US Cletrac tractor. The Cletrac was designed for moving heavy aircraft around at an air field. And would you believe? the Cletrac is described while showing the Dingo.
Thank you for sharing a piece of history!
Thanks a lot for watching!
Cool STUFF!!
Are there any examples of Ambulances, in the museums?
In south Phx. an old
Cletrac is sadly rusting away in a junk yard.
Very Interesting keep it up
Cool
all of your content is interesting and informative, thanks...Yah bless...doug
thanks a lot for your feedback!
no universal carrier aka Bren gun carrier ? Those this were ever were !
the subtitle is not syncronised.
The M40 looks a like a proto-Sherp
Which vehicle can make an undisturbed Impact? I think of using it. The one that lehn like nice anyway like lifestyle while understanding war-chances that can happen. What looks like a lifestyle maybe like using cars? 792243? 298857?
When you say all wheel drive do you use that interchangeable with four wheel drive or do you really mean all wheel drive and not four wheel
Independent steering so I'm guessing he meant what he said
Quality content - keep up good work.
More please!
Will make soon! : )
I need to ask... more of these please.
where is this museum?.
UMMC Museum Complex in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Russia
In the begining of WW2 Russia used some steam trucks.. could you find these?
good info keep it up
Great video!
Where is this museum?
super bad ass
The Soviet contribution to the Second World War is very under reported in the West. As an American I can say we respect the Russian people today and appreciate very much the sacrifices their parents endured during WWll.
No we don't.
Communism, communist, Stalin is evil.
Patton was correct while in Berlin before he was murdered for speaking about the juice
I dont think it's under reported in "the west" In America maybe ?
What is under reported is the massive material aid given to Soviets by mainly Brits and Americans via Arctic convoys and overland routes.
In Soviet and Russian histories this didnt happen The soviets beat the Axis basically on their own
That accent though!
Whatever. I understand what he says, and that's enough for me.
Amazing SPA.
Why the background music
Hehehehe funny car
🙂 👍 i have similar videos
German and Italian American Japan England France Military Carr👍👍👍👍
The subtitles and narration DO NOT FIT
What language are you speaking?
Grande confusione tra video e descrizione. Particolari inutili per dei mezzi molto belli. E non hai citato il nome del trattore italiano: SPA TM 40. Meritavamo di piu'.
Down-vote for poor vocabulary choice in title. When learning English as a foreign language, your teacher has failed you if you have not learned the correct meaning of "unique".
ну и акцент русский лучше бы по русский пиздел... а так пришлось звук убрать а то это слушать противно. с тем же успехом можно смотреть как китайца говорить па руски на утуб.
Vera Niiice : )
