  • With devices like Google’s Chromecast, mirroring an Android phone or tablet to your TV is super quick and easy over WiFi, but what happens if you suddenly lose internet, or find yourself in a situation where internet isn’t an option. Mirroring your phone to your television without WiFi is still an option, but with limitations, it can be pretty tough.

All the new TVs need is a bluetooth feature. Obviously they don't want people to be able to do this. I have unlimited data on my phone so I can watch TV videos or anything as long as I want for the same monthly price. So Iif we were able to link that to the TV screen it would put a lot of TV providers out of business overnight.

You can connect via tethering. For that tho I'd use a refurb decent android not too expensive solely for tethering as it is taxing on the battery.

@@robertporch8895 Yes but you'd only need a contract with your phone company. You can get unlimited data for £20 with smarty who piggy back on 3network or 1pmobile you'll get 200gb on the EE network . Speeds are v good. As I said, just use your SIM in a spare phone.
Failing that. Purchase a tablet that takes a SIM and just slot it in there. 👍

    Hello,
I just recently discovered the mirroring feature of my android phone. When I first used it, it worked fine. Well, I had to try to figure out on my own just how I got the feature to work and how to get it to come back on my TV, after turning both my phone and TV off for awhile. - I have an LG smart TV. - And, I was able to watch and listen to my phone on my TV at first. Then, after pressing a few buttons to try and figure out the way to make the mirroring feature work again, I began having trouble with the sound and picture coming from my phone to my TV. I believe I have the sound problem fixed, but, I'm still having trouble with being able to mirror the picture. All I can get to show is like a digital equalizer with dots showing/blinking while the sound plays over my TV speakers. I'd like to be able to have the sound coming from my sound system I have hooked up to my TV. Mostly, though, I need to figure out how to mirror the picture again. Would you possibly know what I can try to do so that I will be able to view the picture again ? I appreciate your help and advice.

This way as long as your phone has this mirroring option it doesn't matter about your TV having wifi, smart ability or any functions as long as the direct wifi on the mirror screening cast stick device works .... Am I correct on this sir its been years since I did this with my 89.99 sprint cast device lol....please Recommend from amazon A device that as long as you plug it into HDMI and you have screening /mirroring on your phone it will work..
