I actually like that this pack focuses less on scaling than the other DLC. That way they feel really distinct and it is not just "who gets to 50/50 first". It is a totally different way of playing with possibly some wierd combos.
praying mantis is basically your only way of "pilling" units outside of combat in the new pack. turns blobfish into a tier 4 chocolate, but needs repositioning
Maybe you could have the ostrich match with a buy sell build. I haven't put too much thought into it, but it might be a way for a buy sell build to survive in late rounds
With the zebra leveling up to lvl 3. You'll have 2 triggers of lvl 1 so +4 +4, then 3 triggers of lvl 2, +12 +12, then finally the lvl 3 +6 +6, ending with +22 +22 without selling it, but it's pretty rng and you'd probably sell the buffed animals in early stages.
Your first mistake imo was trying to compare it to the other packs. This is a very different pack that has way less scaling and op pets and has different food as well. I think it's pretty clear that the previous 2 packs are much "stronger" with penguins and t rex and monkey and buffalo and bison that can scale to 50/50
Those end of turn effects are interesting because I don't actually know what happens when one of your pets takes damage during your buy/sell phase. Like if you pill a Hedgehog, what happens? Do all your pets permanently just have 2 damage on them forever, or do they heal back up after the round ends? Cuz that could completely change the way you look at the Leech and the Yak if those animals will eventually kill themselves or the creature in front of them.
It's theoretical that the fox might also steal food items like Garlic or Melon instead of just did with number buffs, making it so no extra numbers are applied. Might weaken the fox a bit.
The swordfish can be a guaranteed 1 shot if you get 35 50 level 2 swordfish it does 70 damage witch one shots because max hp is 50 aaaaaaaaaandeven if they get a melon the extra 20 cause it does 70 will kill the melon armour and 50 attack left to kill the pet swordfish can be really good and it’s ok over all so yeah it’s like really good unless your stupid and don’t know how to use it
The Devs actually thought of that if you create the infinite loop then sometimes (I don't really know why) you will lose even with pets remaining but fun nonetheless
This game is turning more luck based by the minute. Like you said, Rock Paper Scissors. Just hope your team’s build is the right kind against your opponent. Also WAY too many pets in one pack, how do they expect kids to keep up with everything?
To try it out free This is the test branch: teamwood.itch.io/super-auto-pets-test
Yaaay thanks. Oh come onnnnn (just press the link)
NEETORO saludos desde Perú ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ
There are 20-30 more. Just go to the Custom part of this update, and see new pets there as well outside of 3rd new pack ;).
Servers are down rn

Agreed scaling was way over powered and pretty much required to win. Pack vs pack should be fun!
I just realize that if you sell a lvl 3 platypus, it will spawn a lvl3 duck and beaver so that's an extra 6 gold
You do still need to pay 18 gold for the tier three
Or just buy sell level 1 platypus, sell it, sell the beaver and duck and get ur money back entirely :/
Plus you get extra buffs for ur team :/

Trueeeee
great summary with before and after initial thoughts!

ooo i didnt think of that.
Dude I'm so excited I literally had my name in the game as AddAF*ckingPlatypusToThisD*mnGame for the last 2 months...so glad they finally added it
LOL the devs do care

I dont think thats a mistake but I see your point.
So basically less power creep and scalers? Nice!

basically anything that happens during buy/sell is permanent
Spinosaurus, vulture, orca, ant eater combo is insane. havent lost a game when i use that combo
This pack do be having good ass combos.
This is very poggers
LETS GOOO, after so long it's here. B)
The day has finally come
How do I get access to this
It's theoretical that the fox might also steal food items like Garlic or Melon instead of just did with number buffs, making it so no extra numbers are applied. Might weaken the fox a bit.
0:51 that's like buying an apple for two coins, but rarely works, still better than the duck
The ducks are treated very poorly in this game
You are welcome for the new pack!
Best DEV EVER TY!
Cute animals, cool mechanics good stuff
Tier 3 blobfish is op, 1 mushroom and a pill saves you 5 coins and gives you basically a free level up
No pill in this pack though but thats a good point
When will this come out for mobile?
Woah what. 55 thats fuckin crazy. And im SO glad they added a frog.
RIBBIT
Velociraptor and swordfish combo but make sure your Velociraptor was more attack so it adds the coconut to the swordfish first or it will kill itself
hmm this is a good idea.
Just put pepper 🫑 to swordfish and make it glass cannon.
Knock out is not a new effect. The rhino and the hippo have it
Frog is so busted you can basically baton pass 50/50 stats to a late game hyper carry.
Very cool
The swordfish can be a guaranteed 1 shot if you get 35 50 level 2 swordfish it does 70 damage witch one shots because max hp is 50 aaaaaaaaaandeven if they get a melon the extra 20 cause it does 70 will kill the melon armour and 50 attack left to kill the pet swordfish can be really good and it’s ok over all so yeah it’s like really good unless your stupid and don’t know how to use it
Will this come to the app version too?
Yes right now its only in the browser version
How do you download the new update? I can't find it anywhere
not out yet this test run
I added a pinned comment but currently its down cause too many people downloaded it lol
Can u buy this already or no cause i cant see it
It’s only on the test server right now
When will this drop in the live game?
Probably in a couple weeks the test launch crashed all the severs :(
Orca is most op, if lucky, orca faints into 2 orcas, then those orcas faint into more orcas. If you are extremely lucky you essentially cannot lose.
@squigebwob a guy that's a meme for fun How?
Orca does seem like the raid boss of the faint effect pets.
Holy hell. This pack looks way too complicated. Haha
Can the fox steal the pill?
oof maybe
Pog
Tapir is broken if you have one in front and one in back
The Devs actually thought of that if you create the infinite loop then sometimes (I don't really know why) you will lose even with pets remaining but fun nonetheless
Full team of lvl 3 Hamsters with Grapes lol
Honestly wouldnt even be difficult considering the amount of free rolls you get LOL
Pretty fuggen Neet
Was this just uploaded
Yeah
STILL NO BEAR
Does a polar bear count?
@@Neetoro I guess😔
Had to pause this several times because of the constant scrolling back and forth....
I do be scrolling
1st
not the 1st to be fatherless sadly

yeah. I definitely would've preferred if they only released 1/3 of these at once. Makes sense from a balance perspective and a business perspective
other packs have same amount of different pets.
@@jkey95 no they don't. The last expansion pack was 22 new pets and this pack is 55 new pets
I just dont think balancing the game around something being good but counterable is a good idea for an area based game
