- It is written in the commentary of Majma'ul Bayan whoever recites surah Yaseen solely for seeking the pleasure of Allah (s.w.t.), all his sins will be forgiven and he will be given the reward equal to the reward of reciting the whole Qur'an 12 times.
In another narration, this surah has been described as the key to all good in this life and in the hereafter and a safety from all evil in this life and in the hereafter. Needs are fulfilled if asked after the recitation of this surah and the reward for its recitation is also compared to performing twenty hajj pilgrimages.
If this surah is recited near a person on his deathbed, then for each letter recited, 12 angels are sent to pray for his forgiveness and they remain even when the soul is being taken by the Angel of Death. The angels also take part in his funeral rites.
If recited near a person who is in Sakarat-ul-Mawt (on the verge of passing away), then an angel brings a drink for the dying person from Jannah and as he drinks of it, he feels greatly eased.
Drinking the water in which this surah has been dissolved cures one of a thousand types of illnesses.
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) said that everything has its heart and the heart of the Holy Qur'an is surah Yaseen. He (s.a.w.) also said that if this surah is recited in a graveyard then all punishment is lifted, for that day, from all the graves and the reciter gets the reward equal to the sum of all the good actions performed by all those who are buried in that graveyard.

t is narrated from Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (a.s.) that whoever recited this surah in the morning will be protected from all calamities and problems during the day and whoever recites it at night will be protected from Shaitan by seventy thousand angels. Recitation of this surah saves one from the squeezing of the grave and its other torments. Passing the difficult stages in the hereafter will also be made easy for him.
The sixth Imam (a.s.) also said that drinking this surah after writing it in a mixture of rose water and saffron for seven days (it has to be written once for each day) makes a person have such a good memory that he will never forget what he hears. He will win debates and will gain great respect and status. If given to a woman, her breast-milk will increase.
Keeping this surah in one's possession as a talisman acts as a protection from the jealousy of people. The wearer remains safe from the evil designs of men and Jinn. It also acts as a cure from disease.

Hum wa azwaajuhum fee zilaalin 'alal araaa'iki muttaki'oon
Lahum feehaa faakiha tunw-wa lahum maa yadda'oon
Salaamun qawlam mir Rabbir Raheem
Wamtaazul Yawma ayyuhal mujrimoon
Alam a'had ilaikum yaa Baneee Aadama al-laa ta'budush Shaitaana innahoo lakum 'aduwwum mubeen
Wa ani'budoonee; haazaa Siraatum Mustaqeem
Wa laqad adalla minkum jibillan kaseeraa; afalam takoonoo ta'qiloon
Haazihee Jahannamul latee kuntum too'adoon

Al-Yawma nakhtimu 'alaaa afwaahihim wa tukallimunaaa aideehim wa tashhadu arjuluhum bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon

Wa man nu 'ammirhu nunakkishu fil-khalq; afalaa ya'qiloon

►Istighfar removes anxiety and duas are answered.
►Istighfar opens the door of sustenance
►Istighfar opens the door of mercy.
►Istighfar opens the door of knowledge
►Istighfar is also gateway of productivity !
►Istighfar relieves you .. when you feel that sadness within you ..when you are disturbed and frustrated ..when anxiety surrounds you ..say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah ..
Don’t leave Istighfar
A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]
There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (صلي ألله عليه و سلم).“Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33]أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله…
Do not ever leave istighfar!

I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him. (Recite one hundred times in Arabic during the day)
It is reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad SAWS said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim]
Dua for seeking forgiveness:
Dua of Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him)
Rabbana thalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23]
''Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost''
رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23]
Dua of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale:
"LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN" [Al-'Anbya' : 87]
“There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [21:87]
The Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus "None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty." [At-Tirmidhi]
Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting
Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47]
"My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers." (Surat Hūd, 11: 47)
We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path.
Say: Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).
Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi
It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield.
Say: Subhan Allah wa bhihamdihi
Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven though they may be as much as the foam of the sea.
Say: La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa ala kuli shay’in qadeer.
And say the many other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah.
"Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran wa la ya'ghfirudh dhunuuba illa anta fa'ghfir li ma'ghfiratan min ‘indika warhamni innaka antal ‘ghafurur rahim."
Translation : "O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself and You alone can forgive sins, so grant me forgiveness from you and have mercy on me. You are the forgiving and Merciful One.
Allahumm-aghfir li, warhamni, wa-hdini, wa 'afini, warzuqni"
O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, guard me against harm and provide me with sustenance and salvation." [Muslim]
ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (SWT) HAS THAT ABILITY.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi]

Oh man i have been straying away from Allah these past few months and wallahee i feel a difference, my prayers are no longer in peace I just want to finish them and leave, I use to go the masjid everyday to pray isha and make an effort to pray fajr every couple of weeks in the masjid now I only go 1 time a week for Friday, I use to always have Quran reciting from my phone or laptop when I was using them now its music and rap, I use to never think I was going to smoke and now I vaped for the first time, I use to think I would never touch a girl or even shake her hand and now I hug girls like its nothing, I use to never curse or swear but now its a part of my language, i use to try but not all the time to make an effort in making tasbeeh when walking and now i don't, I use to pray my prayers on time and now i will delay maghrib and isha without it being a big concern. But now i swear walahee when I listen to any form of recitation of the Quran or the athan I am at COMPLETE peace, and I feel like my Iman is rising higher than the Sun itself. Such powerful words, strong enough to make mountains crumble subhanallah. I really want to go back to Allah and find my way back Inshallah.
