Hands down, I would of absolutely purchased the anthurium QOH and the alocasia antoro velvet. The syngonium red arrow is also very pretty. Such an amazing place! Tyvm for sharing! I was wheezing right along w u! Have u seen the atabapoense x billie? That one is very pretty.

I am OBSESSED with that goofy Cissus! Basically a cactus with random goofy leaves?! I can't! I've never heard of it before or seen it and now i NEED it.
This place is surely amazing, full of many different kinds of rare plants very pricey,.. rare plants are also hard to keep alive, I can't count how many have died on me , couldn't save them, so I try to stick with the more common ones, they do very well for me.
It honestly depends on the plant. My clarinervium has been very easy, as has my squamiferum. Hoya chicken farm is growing a peduncle for me! Philodendron silver stripe has been very easy, too. Other anthuriums I've tried died quickly lol. tl;dr not all rare plants are hard but some definitely are!

Finally got to watch this one all the way through and WOW I need to get over to Oakdale again soon haha. I got my little billietiae from Pike's a few months ago, but definitely smaller than the one you got! Pike's in Matthews last week actually had spiral and boobie cacti!
I would have chosen the Calathea yellow fusion that you panned over in the beginning of the video, but didn't show again. It looked large, so I am curious of the price... I have priced itty bitty ones here in northeast Ohio, at rather steep prices, but I might just buy one the next time I see it. Calathea, really all prayer plants, are my absolute favorites and I want to own them all. Many find Calathea difficult, but I just adore them and my huge warscewiczii, from the Cactus Club, just arrived today!
The $50 budget would’ve gone out the door if it were me…I would’ve somehow justified it in my mind. 😂 Running total of you calling out prices…I’m a little over $500 now that I’ve watched all the video. I was at $300 about 3/4 of the way through. I would’ve purchased the birds foot, splendid, the epi albo…the variegated stromathe, a pink splash, the luxurian hybrid….just to name a few.

Can you explain how you do these plant hauls and your space behind you always looks so organized. I do these plant hauls and every room in my house is getting over run by my plants. Looks like a jungle around here. I don’t notice but my husband is saying enough is enough. But I continue on!!!!
You may have to practice the one in, one out rule, where if you bring a plant home, you let go of one you don't love as much. I'm pretty much at that point so I need to pare down to the plants I really love so they can get the care and attention they deserve and the plants I appreciate less can go to people who will appreciate them. Also, being able to move around in your home and not stress out the people you live with is good. Watching too much houseplant content, especially hauls, can definitely encourage overbuying and plant hoarding. I find I have to let myself vicariously enjoy some plants that won't thrive in my care by watching them on others' channels. I can't have all the plants, and that's okay.
Gloriosums for $82? They had multiple shipments of them to our local big box stores here in MN for months straight this summer for $19.99 and they were all huge and healthy. Florida greens too -huge for $19.99...Huge healthy philodendron billietiaes were only $16.99! Kind of shocking to see nurseries asking that much now.
I haven't seen any of those in big box stores and I'm relatively local to Ashley. I got a smaller billietiae for $45 this summer, and have seen small gloriosums for maybe $30ish at a local garden center. This particular nursery isn't the cheapest on some things but it's not out of line, either.
Don’t come to Australia 🇦🇺. Most of these plants are 75% off these prices in that nursery and available widely. For eg Calathea Musaica $9usd and everywhere. @poppys_patch
