I purchased an LG TV 55 inch OLED in 2018. It had the greatest picture I had ever seen but after less than a year the center of the screen changed any yellow color to green,I fought with LG for 6 months and they finally replaced the whole panel. After six months, I got the same issue green screen locally whenever it should display a yellow. That’s my experience and I now have a Sony bravo.
i think its because what i hard for the high quality OLED you cant keep em on 247 because the high color changes end up burning out and the company knows this
I have a 55 inch sharp (hisense) TV that I got in 2019 just over $200 and still works today great with my ps5 but again I spent most of my time at work lol… rarely watch lol
I bought LG 65 2023 very bad picture maybe setting is a problem
Well, my 2 years old LG OLED 55" now lying in repair shop due to the screen issue. I used it to play a hardcore game for 2 months in summer, average 6 hours per day, and now it doesn't turn on anymore. Guess it's better to buy a cheaper one if you want to gaming.
@@chococraker this is why my $220 55 inch Hisense from 2019 is still working and used mainly for gaming.
I have a 65 inch LG Oled since 2018 and it looks as good now as it did new.

I am a dealer that sells Sony, Samsung, and LG, Including their PRO products. One note: If you stream, Sony has by far the best processing that eliminates compression noise. They also have an agreement with Netflix and Amazon that if the service detects you have a Sony, they send reference video quality. You need fast internet though, otherwise it compresses.

Sorry I read your comment wrong. You need at least 150 gig and it helps to get a dongle because the built in wifi and network card are not good enough. Dumb mistake.
question whats the best tvs for a 65 inch a LG or samsung i had a roku all my life but the roku tvs dont really compare to LG or Samsung or am i wrong
What is true about most all products even cars is that you get a lot of improvements going up from the bottom model to the 2nd or 3rd up in a product line. This is when you can double quality for 20% more in general.
The Samsung’s to stay away from ok are any in the 7000 or 60 and 70 series. If you can get to the 80 series it makes a huge difference. I’m LG the only ones I would get it OLED.

I'm about to return the LG C2. I do not like how dark scenes look. You can't make out details in the dark. I'm now looking into what TV I should get next. The problem is I want this for my small room office. 42" is as big as I want to go and most TVs are over 50".
did you adjust the settings in the menu? it’s at energy saving mode at standard which makes the quality a lot less..
If you return that tv without adjusting the settings to movie mode you shouod have bought a budget tv

Just go get a monitor that has amazing color accuracy while also being decent in hz will give you a wonderful picture, plus since it will be a monitor, size should be too much of a problem

Good TVs be expensive as hell now, you could get good affordable TV but the one like oled be expensive 1500 - 2500 that is crazy for a tv in my opinion. I still want one lol. Get a Panasonic Plasma. Second hand they do from 25€ (42 inch 2009 FullHD) to 150€ (the latest and greatest 65" 2013 models). It will be on par with anything new.

Basically if a room is too dark it brightens the TV, if the colors too dark/light on a TV it adjusts the picture, etc

My TCL just went out yesterday 😂. After 4 years of use, its backlight burns out. Got sound, but can only see black screen.

I thought that also until my screen developed two large purple spots. and when I went to find another Panasonic TV I was told they were leaving Australia this year. Bugger!

@@uthikoloshe he might mean he got it new 2 years ago. A lot of older anything can last decades. Stuff was built to last but didn't use nearly as many things as todays things do. Some people still have tube televisions working the same as when it was new

I have a Samsung curved 4k I got in 2019 still golden 2023 end ish
