    Keep adding lime juice or vinegar(dilute in water) until you see greenish water at bottom. Sometimes, fat doesn't ge seperated easily so once it comes to the boil, bring down heat on lowest and add first few tbsp of lime juice mixture, keep stirring in one direction, then again add more and keep adding and stirring, Do not add too much of lime juiece though. Then allow it to rest for about 5-10 minutes. And it should work.

    Just tried this. Before I had watched your video, I had made a small batch as a test, stirring with a whisk. That was a bad idea, broke the curd into pieces so small they fell through the cheesecloth. Following your instructions, adding the lemon juice a little at a time and stirring slowly in one direction only with a spatula, it worked out great. Thanks.

    Cannot wait to try your recipe. I love that I found your cooking videos. You do an excellent job with the instructional videos and entice me to make every recipe!
    Can you tell me if there is such a recipe that is referred to as "spicy chicken"? It is incredibly good and addicting. I miss not having my spicy chicken every week, now that the location is no longer available. I suspect there is another name for the "spicy chicken" but that's all it was referred to as. In the dish were chunks of potatoes and peas; the texture was much like the "butter chicken", rather gravy like; and the color was very red. Each order was poured over plain rice. If you know the recipe or name of the dish I would be forever happy. If you did a video on how to make it, I would be overjoyed!

    I tried another channels paneer and it did not curdle properly. Used lemon juice and fat milk but it just looked a mess. Your process has some slight differences such as adding the lime juice a bit at a time. I will try again using your method and I will make the beautiful meal you showed. I also enjoy palak paneer which I will try when I learn the paneer. Thankyou

    • @Bhavnaskitchen
      @Bhavnaskitchen  Před 8 lety +3

      +Cynthia Heiden Yes, do not add all juice at once, add slowly once milk come to boil, once all juice is used, let it rest till it curdles because some milk won't curdle immediately so allow sometime, leave it undisturbed and you will get most paneer out of it...
