I love the idea of getting a special Paris ring for both of you as the wedding band!! So sentimental
Vintage jewelry is so special, such a great idea to get vintage wedding bands in Paris: the history, the memories - so romantic 💕
European cities are so different than American ones and so much more magical! So glad you loved Paris!
I love the voice over style of this video! So don't worry at all
I've been to Paris. It's my favourite city. You may have had nine days but you were there with a large family group and working at the same time not to mention trying to find gluten-free food and purchase your wedding rings. Well done! And thank you for sharing your trip. 😊💟☮️
Your videos bring joy and peace to my day!
I’m so happy for you and it’s so special that you found you found your wedding bands there like you wanted!!
The Palace of Versailles was one of our favorite places.
I’ve loved these Paris vlogs. I went in college, so it feels like there again🩷
I am loving the Paris vlogs! I want to go there so badly. It looks amazing. The rings are beautiful 😍
This is so wholesome 🥰 the ending had me all fuzzy
I'm so glad you are all having so much fun. I just placed my first order with Osea. I'm super excited to try the night cream and face cleanser.
I actually don't mind voice overs anyway so all good Michel. Great trip! Thanks for sharing. ❤
Agree!!! I liked it more
Thank you for sharing. What an amazing place. 💖
The rings you picked out are even more special that you got them in Paris, i thought they were very nice, enjoying your Paris vlogs❤😊
Saint Chapelle is my favorite place in all of Paris, I’m so sad you missed it!! Definitely go next time!
Beautiful adventures. Hope you got the gold scraps from resizing. 😊
I have loved watching the videos of your trip! Thank you for sharing. : )
I’m with you on cities also. 3 days and done. Paris is the exception! There’s so much to see and eat. Definitely my favorite city. Unfortunately back in 2014 only got a day on way back from Kenya.
Love your video give me my day happier, I was depressed thank
God blessings your life a lot love your future family his coming
I would love to watch it over and over again~!! Gluten-Free Food~!!!!😍😍😍
So happy you found your wedding rings. Had to rewind the dancing in the jazz club to see the couple dancing to the right of you. What a hoot!
St Chappelle was my favorite church in all of Europe. Did you know during World War I they took out all the stained glass and wrapped in in some form of protective coverings and hid it and then after World War II was over they brought them out and put them back in the windows, so this is the only church in much of Europe with original stained glass windows as most in other churches were destroyed during war and what you see today is from restoration and not the original glass.
Great viedo Paris is beautiful 😊😊😊. Jirdy done a awesome job on the viedo work❤❤
SUCH a fun vlog! So much to see and it seems like you had a perfect time! Did Jordy mind that you found your/his wedding band without him? Also just as a fyi, the last S in Versailles is silent but the R in Louvre is not! But I would definitely love to see more travel vlogs!
I’m so happy for you that you were able to find your wedding bands in Paris! What a special memory for your partnership.
I am on my way to Paris! I have been staying in Nice for 1 month
What's an amazing Christmas travel holiday?!
Lovely ❤
Sick with possibly with walking pneumonia & you uploaded. My kids are outside & my husband is at work. Soooooo thank you!!
Hoping you feel better soon🫶🤍
@MichelJanse Thank you, friend. I haven't been this sick in a LONGTIME. I really want to go to Paris now.
I kinda love watching the clips with the voice over explanation vs the montage
Yay!!
Absolutely Love Paris. I’ve been going there since the 70s as it’s a hop skip jump from London and I still see it with fresh eyes.
One thing I don’t get at all is why you would take all of those ubers in a city that has such great public transport. Which is also a great way to get a feel for the city. 😊 The metro is also very safe so that wouldn’t have to be a concern. I’d be very curious to hear you talk about that 😊.
It's probably a lot of work to figure out the schedule and all that when it's in a language she doesn't speak
I mean she didn‘t even bother to try to pronounce „louvre“ correctly and calls it Luuv. No hate but…. that‘s americans for ya i guess.
@@jordanlexton7354 I was there alone last year for the first time and I also don't speak french (and english isn't even my first language), it's really super easy to navigate :)
I think it just depends on how people grow up. I grew up surrounded by public transit so I know I’m capable of using it in whichever state or country I am in. But others grew up in places with no exposure or little access to public transit so they don’t think about it
@@UU-mt4wvmy husband who is French says I don’t say it correctly but I’m not American or is English my first language. What he has taught me is he appreciates my love for his country and the effort to try…so maybe it’s not perfect but who is ….???
Wow what beautiful art, architecture and scenery!!! Oh I felt like I was in heaven!! Prayers & Wishes Lisa Hampton 🙂
Such a beautiful city with even more amazing landmarks. The vlog was perfect. Loved the way you didn’t rush through anything. It helped me feel like I was part of the experience. ❤
So stunning. Grew up living near Versailles. Seeing these images brought back memories. Thank you!
Paris is just too beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us Michel. You are such a beautiful soul.
It truly is🥹 thank you for being here🤍
So glad you found vintage wedding bands. I love them!
Thanks for sharing your trip. Haven’t been there since 1972!
I’m surprised you didn’t go to Cafe Kitsune! ☕️ 🍵😋🤤
Next time!
Ahhhhhhhhh I LOVE your music to your videos!
Paris is so beautiflul, i wish i was parisian 😭
Excellent take-us-along. Now I want to visit Paris again!!
I LOVE your ring. What a dream trip...thanks for sharing, as always. ❤
Thank you for joining in :,)
Hello beautiful Michel ~ How did you find it in Paris as an American who doesn't speak French (or maybe you do?)? Was it relatively easy to navigate around on foot? ~~~ So loving these three Paris 🗼 vlogs!!! 🥰
Hi! I was last year in Paris as an female traveling alone who also doesn't speak french (and doesn't have english as her first language) and it was no problem :) I was always taking the metro or just walking (which I do very recommend because the architecture is so beautiful and you see more this way)
Michel You’re rocking it! I am here to say that your vlogging is on point! At least for me and probably many others. I have been with you since ….. oh just way back in your other life….. and I have been enjoying how you capture your life story sooo very much. Keep up the great work! I have never been to Paris… never had the desire… but now after watching …. I dunno. Maybe this ol’ gal might be thinking a little differently. Love to you and Jordy ❤
This is so sweet 🥹 Thank you 🫶
❤️❤️❤️
I'm going to start referring to scents as "flavors", too. It's charming :-).
If the audio is gonna decide to be finicky, at least it did it during a vlog with outstanding visuals! This was really beautiful, and I enjoyed your voice over. 🥰
Ourselvvvvvvvvvessss
P.S.S. Interestingly, there's a "George's at The Cove" in La Jolla 😉
Hi, Michel! Happy Saturday and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🍾🎉🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖😊🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. Your trip to Paris was so.....incredible! Restaurants, schools, hotels, water fountains and posing the big eiffel tower! WOW!!😍😍😍😍😍😍👍. So, have fun and god bless!😊😀😙💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷🙏💖💖💖💖💖💖💖😊🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍
❤❤❤❤
My husband proposed in the garden at Versailles! It's so beautiful. I love that you found rings in Paris. So special!
Looks like you had a louvely time, haha 😂😂😂❤
P.S. This trip is like an incredible honeymoon in and of itself ❣️
What a wonderful Trip your Rings are Beautiful 😍 for sure many memories with them .🥰
Would love osea but my so expensive
Have you ever heard of an influencer name Alexa Luria? She is from Boca Raton, Florida and currently she lived in Los Angeles,California. She has a foodie account called Girl With A Gourmet Palate.
🇫🇷 & 🇦🇺 are her favs countries to visit. She even have them on her highlights on her instagram.
Michel,Which do you prefer more 🇫🇷 or 🇮🇹?
I would love it if she did a video about what she liked/didn't like, recommendations,... More like travel oriented
Ahh...my favorite part of this video is you finding vintage wedding bands in Paris!!!
How unbelievably romantic and special. Over 50 years ago I bought a sterling silver bracelet in Toledo, Spain that I've worn everyday since.
You'll have those rings forever. Xoxo.💞
SO special🥹🥹🥹
Enjoyed the video, thank you.
What a magical looking place! These travel vlogs are really making me want to plan a trip. My brother and his family are moving to Spain in July and I’m so excited to be able to visit them and explore. My sis-in-law and I are already planning to visit France during one of my trips. 🤗✈️💕
This sounds silly to ask when there is google, but how did you find all the gf/celiac friendly restaurants?
Could you share who you used as a tour guide at The Louvre?
Loving the Paris vlogs! What overseas data plan are you using? I am planning to travel to Europe at the end of the year and am trying to figure all the technical things out.
Such a lovely vlog, Michel - thanks so much for sharing ❤ I am so happy that you and Jordy found your wedding bands in Paris - so special and beautiful 🤩 and such a nice memory of that city 🏙️ I loved seeing the sights with you‼️ I love Paris and wish everyone could experience at least one week there as there are so many things to see and do in this very walkable city 🏙️ Happy travels plane ✈️ 😊🎼🤩
Audio issues aside, this is an outstanding vlog. The food, the architecture, the museums, etc. make us feel as though we are there with you. I lived in Paris as a.child and can't believe how crowded it gets now.
Escargot in Paris for your first experience will be hard to replicate anywhere else.
So happy you had such fantastic food. I miss it...
so gutting about your sound but I love your rings so perfect 💓
Why couldn’t Jordy come with you to choose the rings?
You seem like you're having a great time in Paris. I do have to ask, what's your favorite place to go in Paris?
The top of the tower and the catacombs were definitely my favorite☺️
The architecture is so magnificent. How was it possible that hundreds or even thousands of years ago such elegance was possible. How was one piece of marble moved from the quarry?? Yet there were massive amounts needed. Pondering.
It was possible because they were kings so they could take all the money of the country to build such magnificent palaces, while the common family was barely able to eat...
Thank you. With what technology to assist??
@@lrmps With the same technology people used for thousands of years to cut stones, transport them and sculpt them.
You can find documentaries on youtube about marble or granit blocks being extracted and the tools used along the history.
You can also look at "Guedelon castle" which is a medieval castle built nowadays with medieval technology, and you will ba able to see the whole process.
what's your favorite place to go in Paris
So many!!! I loved the catacombs & the river cruise was so fun as well 😊😊
@@MichelJanse I loved the catacombs & the river cruise too
Thus made me want to go shopping. I need to read that book 30 Days to Stop Being a Shopaholic by Harper Daniels haha
That's so disappointing about the camera cutting outfit the audio. I enjoyed the vlog regardless but of course you wanted the audio. I love the idea of getting vintage rings.🥰
I'm so glad you guys found your rings! That made my heart so happy. 😊
I love that you found rings in Paris! This makes me so happy. So, from now until forever, you can say you got your wedding rings in Paris. I love it so much!
Loved these vlogs. I went to Paris about I 1/2 years ago on a European trip and I was honestly so surprised how much I loved Paris. So much to see and I definitely will return. Next time you go to Paris you must go see Monets home in Versailles. His gardens are absolutely so beautiful. I couldn’t believe the enormous types of flowers and plants and the ponds all around with little bridges. The inside of his house was so interesting, it had a lot of his art. The furniture was exquisite. Love seeing other people’s experience in a city . I will go to some of the shops and bakeries you went to. Thanks for sharing your lovely trip. I’m so happy you were able to find your rings😊❤️
Hi! If you're talking about Giverny it is actually an hour away from Versailles. Monet's house is definitely on my bucket list!
I cannot express the joy that comes over me when I see the notification that Michel has posted! The joy you have for the things you do and love just shines through and is such a pleasure to witness 🥹 You are such a breath of fresh air 💕🤩
Thank you, Maria 🥹🫶
We had a French guide at the Louvre and she whipped us around, up and down back stairways and we saw so much in just a short time.
Ladurée is all gluten free they are made with almond flour, the staff wouldn’t lie 😂 they are too much of a brand around the world
I’m so glad you had a wonderful time in Paris Michel! It is such a beautiful place! I’m happy that you took us along!
So much to see in such a short time!
I’m glad you got yours and Jordy’s wedding bands there! Something to treasure for a life time! I’m glad they had them sized on time for you!
Have a good weekend! ❤❤
Thank you🤍🤍
@@MichelJanse You are very welcome!
Favorite channel ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your trip and adding addresses for where you went! Your vlogs are the perfect mix of cozy, informative, and friendly. Happy holidays & new year!
I totally agree, those special keepsakes that AREN'T new are so much better. My husband got me a ring in Poland for our 12th anniversary, but I'm hoping for our 15th we can go overseas somewhere and find another keepsake, maybe a set... that sounds even better. :)
So fun to travel along with you! Thanks for such a great vlog and for your generosity - sharing your family trip with all of us! You are my fav……
beautiful vlog friend
TBH 😂 kinda like you talking over footage MORE than live audio.
that's sacre coeur not sainte chapelle
Yes 😁
It’s my dream to move there!
Wow! Such a magnificent trip. Can't believe it's not your honeymoon!!
That must have been so frustrating for you about the audio! But think the voiceover worked just the same
I grew up near a bakery called La Boulangerie. They had the best cinnamon bread in nor cal
You grew up near a bakery called “The Bakery“ in French, lol, kinda like in my city there is a bodega called “The Bodega”
Even with technical difficulties this vlog was beautiful Michel!!!
What a great trip. Thank you Jordy for taking footage too. Love your rings suck a wonderful keepsake.
Profite bien de la France 🥰🇫🇷
AHH! You got to see the Louvre ...and the Mona Lisa!! I am so excited and grateful for your sharing your time there, Michel! I will never get to Paris, but if I did and the Louvre was the only attraction I got to see, I would be completely fulfilled. I don't know how much it costs to get in there, but I am so grateful that you got to go! ❤❤
The woman dancing in the background stole the show with how weird she danced. Reminded me of Elaine on Seinfeld 😂
Oh Michel, there was a moment I just started tearing and I think it's because I'm just so happy for you. This is all precious 🌹
What a special trip and the bands will be a beautiful reminder every time you look down at them ❤
Idk why but I thought the Mona Lisa was bigger. It being so small kinda shocked me
