I rarely realize how terrifying jt must have been for the Clones in the Clone Wars
At least the clones were raised from birth with the knowledge and training required to fight the war. I imagine most clones would probably get used to the idea of dying in combat from a young age and are desensitized through extensive simulations training.
Now also remember they had the mental age of a 11-15 year old
Remember that in the lore, no one knows where humans come from. It's thought that they came from Coruscant and parallel evolved with the Taung, but we're so different from them that this (in universe) is highly debatable. the "a long time ago" is because the Star Wars stories are being told in the past tense from *their* future. That doesn't mean they can't be *our* future.

Well thats where the long long time ago part comes in. Moon shattered, picked up additional satellites etc. Lots can change in that amount of years. It would be conceivable that earth turned into or was geonosis.

I would love to see a Star Wars survival game where youâre a soldier in whatever period of Star Wars whoâs been stranded on somewhere where like Endor or Geonosis and have to build, craft and explore as well as fight of itâs vicious locals in order to survive and find a way to call in a rescue team. Obviously, this is invoked in horror games. Most apocalypse (especially zombie) games set a level in something like a now-abandon school or hospital in order to invoke Liminal Space Phenomenon, usually to great effect. However, you can go further, I strongly advise you to go to your favourite video game such as Battlefront, turn off the NPC's and music, and just walk around. If you do it in the right place, you'll get chills down your spine and it be put strongly on edge. It's a genuine and rare feeling of horror.
EDIT: To clarify, note I said 'favourite' game. It has to be a level or area you're familiar with, as your mind must have come to associate it with the presence of people. Also it doesn't have to be REAL people, as I said, taking out NPC's often does just fine.

To be honest, the ewok hunt is way more scarier, especially the climate. The night makes it worse, making you unable to see anything but only lasers flying everywhere in order to hit the ewok which they're fighting for protecting the small village.
There was also a nuclear radiation symbol, maybe implying that Geonosis is Earth after a nuclear war? Or that the dark side eventually developed nuclear weapons and exterminated most life on Geonosis, leaving humans to take over control as it became Earth?

Based on Earths place in the galaxy, were it placed into the Star Wars Galaxy it would be in the heart of the Unknown Regions, rather than Geonosis, which would be on the opposite side of the galaxy. It would take an impossible amount of time to move all the way there. Longer than any planets life cycle.
That being said though, it was implied in Legends that Earth was a spacers myth of some lush planet in a far away unreachable galaxy.

I believe it was the geonosian hydra, a terrifying 3 headed beast found in the seas, some even mutated to have FOUR or more heads, making escape impossible.
After seeing this video I wanted to go visit this location for myself and started playing a galactic assault on Geonosis and I saw the screen turn on and I screamed because it was just so surprising and so shocking. Congratulations Bombastic you have scared me once again.
