- How to check SIO Signal Shorting in Laptop Motherboard is a technique that is covered in our Chiplevel Online Laptop repairing Training Course by Laptex.
This is a DELL 5537 Laptop motherboard with part number la-9981p with the ON-OFF problem and 3V 5V Laptop Power IC getting heated. But, 3V 5V IC is not having any problem.

Now, the point comes on how to check such types of problems and what could be the solution to an ON-OFF problem of the motherboard with SIO or KBC or IO or EC Signal shorting.
