This happens to me so often! I just get really excited to learn to code, for example, and I do it almost obsessively! So after a few days / weeks I get bored of it and just stop doing it. Try to pace yourself so you can continue to enjoy it. Good luck!
The best advice I can give for language learning is to find something that actually interests you - that way, "study time" isn't so much of a chore Also, you don't need 12 hours a day... 30 minutes is plenty :)
I really like this "vlogs" rektrap does, it shows this is not a channel to farm money through minecraft but a place a normal guy who plays minecraft posts content. Btw, for those trying to learn a new language like him, as a non-native english speaker, i recommend trying to get used to media in that language, like books, videos and manga, especially if you have a larger timespan to learn. Based on my observations on it, i feel like my reading and writing got a lot better after doing so.
Enjoy your commentaries so much, when you posted your vid about learning Japanese, I had just arrived to Tokyo that day lol, keep up the amazing work and you also got me inspired to start a streak on Duolingo, and get into Japanese myself!
Don't worry if you're struggling with learning something. I've been learning full OLL(orientation of last layer) on a rubik's cube(it has 57 algorithms) and you're supposed to learn at least 6 algorithms a week and practice for an hour a day, but I learned that you shouldn't force yourself to learn something as quickly as possible, just take a break when you don't feel like learning❤❤❤
