My son is alive because of Dr. Evans. He was diagnosed with leukemia (A.L.L) at 2-years-old, and she was by his side every step of the way throughout his 3-year protocol at CHOP; and for many years after and throughout his life. Today, Brandon is 24-years-old and considered cured! There are no words that can ever adequately express my eternal gratitude to this incredible woman!

This wonder of a woman saved my life when I was just an infant in 1997. I'm now about to turn 25 this summer and just graduated with a masters in trauma counseling, all thanks to her and the impact she had on my life. No person in this world brings greater tears of gratitude to my eyes than this saintly woman, Dr. Audrey Evans!!

A fulfilling life ...God bless her with good health. There is also a similar noble person in India, Dr.V.Shanta, the Chairperson of Adyar Cancer Institute in India. She is the niece of Sir CV Raman ( Raman Effect) who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930 and S Chandrasekhar ( Renowned Indian American Astrophysicist). Worth your time to read.

What an amazing woman and story I never cry but I almost did with this video. It takes a lot of courage, guts, and faith to do what she did and especially in her time were women weren't allowed to be or do anything. She truly is an inspiration to me, and should be an inspiration to every women on the face of the earth. 🥰😘🤗

Really inspiring interview! Nice to know she is one of the founders of The Ronald McDonald House program. Another beautiful example of generosity, wisdom, and caring that only gets better with age. Dr. Evans, thank you for your good work and for showing us what is possible with focus, commitment, caring and humor, and what you can continue to do at 92 years old. Great job by the interviewer too. Can someone please cite her name?

Heaven forbid that the Ronald McDonald Houses could be renamed the "Audrey Evans Houses" in her honour- rather than a fast food giant which peddles junk food to children getting all the glory in order to make people feel good about them and deflect negative publicity.
