Can you suggest how I would locate a rheumatologist who will address my issues without a positive test? I don't believe I had a rheumatoid factor test but an SS tests came back negative and was referred for a positive ANA. I've had overall muscle pain, ankle joint pain, fatigue and rashes. But the negative tests resulted in the Rheumatologist telling me there was no need for him to see me any longer. The symptoms have not gone away and he isn't interested in helping. How do I find a more proactive rheumatologist? Thanks for your wonderful videos!

My rheumatoid factor test score was a 64. However, the specialist looked at me when the weather was warm, put me through some arm raises, palms up,palms down. She said I didn’t have it. Another doctor said I had it Now it’s winter, and I can barely walk. Is there a better test than a Rheumatoid Factor test?

I am on 5mg of Prednisone due to a diagnosis of mixed connective disease years ago. I tried dmards, but I've had bad side effects. I recently have been having terrible autoimmune symptoms so had blood work and my Rheumatoid factor igG was 28. Everything else was normal except kappa free chains and free chain ratio was elevated. Is it possible I no longer have a connective tissue disorder?😊
