If you can, that would be good but again, that is very unlikely, so get the blocked account first and then the job after you arrive

You have to find the part time job when you come to Germany but you need the proof for cases like extension

If you can get a certificate from the school and if your school is recognized by Anabin, then it’s good to go. You can Google what Anabin means
I got info about this Opportunity Card in December and I checked my point which actually meets the required 6 points but I have 2 question after watching your video and I will really appreciate a feedback.
1) Do you think I need IELTS to prove my English language? I have 2 years related college degree certificate in IT from a UK institution but I leave in Nigeria.
2) If you have a family in Germany, can that wave the financial proof requested?

1. They didn’t specify how you can prove this but it’s best to have a language test to prove.
2. They can only wave the financial proof if someone can give you a statement of declaration document also known as the sponsorship letter.

My understanding is that you need EITHER German A1 or English B2. Not both

Good day ma, if I'm using sponsor for my financial statements in the application,it is compulsory for the sponsor to be in Germany or Africa because of the block account
Anyone that gives you the declaration of commitment letter (sponsorship letter) has to be a legal resident of Germany. If you want a blocked account, anyone based anywhere can give you money for the blocked account, however the money needs to be put in your blocked account in Germany.

Is a blocked account a must as a proof of funds if iam outside Germany?
I don’t think it’s a must, maybe you can use a sponsorship letter too
So if I hold an A2 German certificate and C1 Ielts English certificate I’d get 2 points in total or just 1 point ?

What about work experience? If i have only university degree, then is it okay?
You earn more points if you have at least 5 years work experience.

I believe 45 years can apply, however you won’t get a point for that. For IELTS, I believe general and they need you to get an equivalent of B2 English, which is around 6.5 in IELTS

You can't use bank statement, it has to be blocked account, a work contract or declaration of commitment letter.
Correction: ▫ For all cases:
▪ Secure financial means: blocked account with at least €1,027 (as of 2024) or Declaration of Commitment.

If you have a certificate that proves that you add a bit of training on engineering, then it should be fine
