Thank you for comparing both! I’m new to journaling and am getting some YCS boxes for now because I feel like I can have a good “foundation” of supplies in 3-6 months. After looking at lots of unboxing videos, I can see a real “formula” to what each includes. I think after 6 mos I may have all I want from YCS. The items for CC seem higher value, but I’m not really interested in having a large stamp collection and that subscription seems to be a bit weighted toward stamps. I wish someone had a vintage subscription box that had 0-1 stamps oer month and the rest in other supplies(anyone know????). I mean, like the train travel YCS box, I don’t need THAT many train stamps!!! ;-)
This was such a great video and a great idea! I do agree that the two boxes have a different goal. Someone mentioned below that the YCS box has more items and they are both themed but I feel the Cora Crea has items of greater value. I just discovered both and I love that you can purchase the YCS boxes individually. Monthly subs can be a lot for me to organize in my small crafty space..lol.. I am also glad that you mentioned the treasure Cora Crea box because I just subbed to that one too. If you do the year long sub you are actually paying only $78 per box instead of $99 or $21.00 less that if you subbed bimonthly. Based on her video of past treasure boxes, she includes journals and higher end items in the treasure box and they are more eclectic and not themed so I am very excited about that subscription. I will also continue to purchase the YCS boxes on a case by case basis as well. Together I am excited that they will add a lot to my journaling goodies!
I’m brand new to the journaling thing and wanted to see what possibilities there were. I’m not looking to necessarily dive in head first, just wade in slowly. I have an obsession with journals anyway, so I think this would be a great alternative way to “journal” how I feel some days. Thank you for this wonderful comparison to start with!
I have at least a year's worth of Your Creative Studio boxes and I do love them. However, it was nice to see a different subscription option. What I like about YCS boxes is the mostly sepia tones; it seems to unify the contents. That is a bit funny(peculiar) of me, as I truly LOVE color, oh well! Thanks for this video.
Apparently I’ve been living in a cave 😂 because I’ve just discovered junk journaling and it’s so me I’ve always loved scrapbooking this feels more creative, subscriptions might be a good way to get lots of fun stuff I apparently don’t know existed 😂 thank you ☺️
The Cora Crea box subscription is less than the your creative studio's. But everything in the Cora Crea box is made by her personally so I love it. Her family helps her and it's small but cute. I just ordered my your creative studio's box subscription and have seen unboxing videos of past boxes and yes you get more stuff but it cost a little more. I think they both are awesome 😎😍
I really loved the things in the Cora Crea box but the YCS box seemed like the better value. Hmmmm, it has me wanting to try a subscription again.

I just did this and I liked the Cora Crea better it had a little bit of everything and the stamps work great. I am getting the Mystery Box with Cora Crea which I love.

Great video. They both have awesome products and I only ordered from Creative Studio once and I loved it. I am one who likes a bargain so I do look for who carries the most for their money. Like you said, it's a big investment. I did enjoy the Sea themed items, the ephemeras and stamps were the best. TFS. Good luck.😍🌹👍

Hi, I just found your channel tonight while searching for reviews on the Your Creative Studio mystery box. So far, it appears that the YCS box is the better choice, more bang for your buck. But, your video is the first comparison video I have seen thus far. I will go to your channel to watch your reveal of the 90$ box from Cora Crea. Hi! I decided against making the video about the $90 box. It was over priced and the items received were underwhelming. I had nothing positive to say about it and did not want to make a video filled with so much negativity. I like reviewing, but I don’t like it when the scales tip completely to the negative side. I hope that makes sense. 🥰
A bit disappointed. I have seen much better enclosed and more sets of papers in 5 types of papers. All consistent with the same theme. However I still would check out the boxes they have for sell. Times are hard for all merchants at this time in all our lives. However it is better than the other. Although their box was nice. I think your creative studio is better.
I got that Cora box and it was damaged and missing the sticker sheet and she sent them out but when I left an honest review she emailed me and blasted me with an attitude! I got another box to give it a shot and she told me she has THE BEST BOX for the money and next box was worse! There’s no cohesion and no paper in a journaling box! Your creative studios has definitely been a much better box in my opinion and has wayyy more items that aren’t just from AliExpress! Great comparison video that was awesome!!

@@Mou7gh yeah it was pretty hostile to say the least! I didn’t know my box was missing stuff cause I wasn’t aware of what was supposed to be in the box so after I posted the review she emailed me immediately with an attitude like wow and it was multiple emails for days! She did send out the missing and damaged items to me really fast which was great but almost everything in her shop I’ve seen on AliExpress and she just jacks the price up and claims to have the best box on the market which I just do not agree with! I got a couple more after this because she asked me to give the next month a shot and it really just isn’t worth $30 dollars! Your creative studios is worth more than 30 and that’s kinda the point of these boxes is to get more than what u pay! I get witchy boxes that are $55 a month and it’s got over 150 worth of items..so she kinda missed that whole concept lol
Can you choose your monthly box theme from Creative..I am watching your current box with you..shells, beach theme..actually I am NOT a beach person..
You don’t get to chose the theme. If you do a multiple month subscription, you get whatever themes they curated. If you do a month to month, you can always not purchase the box for the month if you don’t like the theme.

I have gotten a few YCS boxes and love them. I kind of forgot to order the last couple of boxes - I haven't subscribed for no reason I can think of. :)
I think comparing these boxes is a bit like comparing apples to oranges. I think the Cora Crea box is good value considering they have higher value items in the box - we know wax seals can be pricey, besides the wood block stamp, there's an entire, if small, stamp set besides. Sure there are more items in the YCS box, and they're all wonderful, but better value? I'm not sure.

I did! It was overpriced and underwhelming. Totally not worth the money. I did not do an unboxing because making a mostly negative review videos is not my jam. Needed to call it an expensive lesson learned. 🥰

I’ve stop getting ycs this year and I can see there’s been a lot of cute stuff but overall it’s usually the same thing and I have so much stuff I don’t know what to do with lol I was just hoping to find something new to spark my interest in junk journaling again. I do a lot of pen pals I love sending stuff because I just know there’s no way I’m going to use it all but if you like paper years ago I had someone give me about 15 sample books of wallpaper so I am up to my neck with paper if you ever want some lol
