Take an inside look of my weekend at the Opening round of the GNCC season at Big Buck. The rain early in the week leading up to the race made it to be a perfect weekend of racing. Great start, but lacked the comfort in the beginning but slowly climbed my way to P8 / 21st OA

I believe you will be on the box at florida. You are definitely fast enough to be in the top 3 in my opinion and you are definitely fast in the sand. Good luck next race.

Appreciate all the race footage you’ve been including lately. Looks like you got a great start, think you could mention how you placed at the end of the race vlogs?
That’s normally the plan, hard to remember after 3+ hours of racing and trying to unwind to load up and head home. We will be better next time

How are warming up pre race? Do you have a consistent routine? Maybe that’s what you need if you don’t already have it in place.

Do you really prefer the WP Syspension to the KYBA that was originally on the bike?
I was never your speed . But got up to B class west coast d36 harescrambles . Top 5 guy . Nothing special. But I would have the same problem for all the year racing , I get all arm pumped up beginning of race . Then waste a bunch of time . Then it would loosen up and then I would be good and plug people off towards the end . And man I’m telling you , the trick that worked for me was Paul whibleys arm pump trick. Use a hand squeezer machine , get your arm pumped up like it is in a race . Then wrap your arm tight from your wrist to your bicep and hold your hand above your head . Pump up other hand in the mean time . About 45 second to a minute. Do about 3 sets per arm. Coconut water . And dude I had no arm pump for 2 hours straight . Worth a shot 🤷🏻♂️

Looking fast!! If you don’t mind telling, what kind of rear tire do you run and why? I just run a mx33 for my races
It’s very track dependent. I ran At81 because of the hard pack and roots, I will run the new 34 on more dirt style tracks where I will have more lean angle
What’s your starting procedure on the Kawi for the race, I’m racing a kawi this year and trying to find the right way to get a good start from dead engine.
I’ve been working hard on no throttle during the start, seems to work the best

I’m surprised to see someone putting an at81 on a bike… first thing I did was rip them off my Husqvarna and can’t give them away 😂
At81 rear is a great tire. It's usually the preferred tire of choice for the pros at ironman. The front at81 is trash though. It's all preference I guess!
@@westonwilliams24 all preference for sure! I just absolutely hated them in prefer a gummy or hybrid tire, was told to try the at81ex for a softer compound but really didn’t feel confident with them at any pressure I tried
At81 rear or MX34 is the only tires I run. 81 for more hardpack/rocks and 34 for more dirt

I'm curious to why you would go with wp on a Kawi?
