Day one buy for me. This honestly might be my favorite Daredevil run
Is it cohesive? I liked the first arc, but honestly raised my eyebrows pretty high at basically everything I heard about the run after that. And the last time a DD writer was forced to an event we got Shadowland……

Really? And you've read all the classics from Miller and onwards? Honest question, I've never read anything by Zdarsky.
@@amorbavian Soule’s run is also a contender for number 1 for me. Also yes Millar’s run is THE character defining run for DD. I became a huge fan of Zdarsky after reading this run though. This series was a page turner for sure
There's,good and enjoyable stuff pre Miller as well especially Roger Mckenzie who is super underrated. Such a boring take no offense.

Zdarsky & Chechetto's Daredevil run thus far is one of the finest red 😈 👿 devil graphic novel singles and trade arcs of the Devil of Hell's kitchen, story-wise and visually and character-wise! It's just excellent all the way from the get-go! THAT'S an omnibus I would get! 🎉 📖 📚 🗽 🧱 😈 👿 🌇 🌃 will return for the rest of the review after acquiring it whenever that is! Meanwhile, kudos! 🎉 Gem 💎 Mint!! I'm a sucker for DD art and story! With Spidey and Kingpin thrown in! And so far, no cliché street superheroes tryna stop a midnight burglary of ...a pawn shop... to heist an 80's box TV set in 2020's, taking two masked guys to carry it. Granted, he looks out for the little guy, but what midnight crew goes for such high risk, low gains for an antique item you could pick up on some neighbor street side for zilch? I mean, the DD comics can do and have done industrial espionage intrigue, you'd think they could do Michael Mann's Heat style sophisticated robbery crews and undercover scenarios. Boggles my mind so much that I tweeted at them wondering why, since the 2010's. That's when they veer into cartoon. Bats, animated or on the page, would not be caught dead halting that unless it was specifically sentimental.
Zdarsky vol. 1 is coming out soon and we just heard that Nocenti vol. 1 will come on February. Daredevil fans are spoiled atm. 😊

With the Zdarsky Omni now out so looking forward to reading both of these in the correct order. Art looks great and some beautiful variants in the backs of both. Stoked for these two.

Probably best to just get vol 1 & 2 of DD. Unless you REALLY want the DR tie ins
