Honestly, Tricky might be one of the few beings to put up s good fight against mecha sonic, and as the docs shows, even win. This is in part due to Tricky's obscene hax, including immortality, regeneration, his speed being incredibly variable, even been having his speed said to be "fast enough", in addition to all the other crazy powers that the Halo can provide. as such, Mecha's superior power and other physical attributes(at least, he's shown more powerful feats then what tricky has been shown to be capable of doing) don't mean much here when some crazy clown with Jesus' Halo can blitz you because he wants to.
The always “fast enough” statement is incredibly vague to use in Vs. Arguments, while it was stated by the creator, there’s not enough evidence to prove what he’s talking about, sure you could be pretty fast but still lackluster in reaction speed. I mean unless the question asked by Krinkles was “How fast is Tricky’s reflex speed” or something like that, then I don’t really see how that helps him. Here’s how: All speed and no reaction time = I can outrun the bullet, but can I see it coming towards me? All reaction time and no speed = I can see the bullet approaching me, but can I avoid it? Reflex speed = I can see the bullet approaching me and outrun it too. Chaos Energy has granted wishes in Sonic 06, while Tricky isn’t lackluster at all with his hax, he still has to process what he actually wants to do, his P.I.D can do anything when he wills for it, which is why Mecha Sonic can simply speedblitz him before he can do, or process anything. Tricky has still been outpaced multiple times in the series, while he absolutely speedblitzes the main cast in the other, so I don’t think he passively adjusts his speed automatically, it’s more of however fast he wills to go. But I know it’s not reflex speed because he could easily avoid any attacks from Hank if he was always “fast enough.” He basically only wins if Mecha Sonic somehow allows him to win instead of instantly just warping time or just ending his life.

(Yoshi definitely is the weakest there, but he isn’t too much of a slouch. My main focus here is Mario and Luigi, who have also handled universal - multiversal threats like Dreamy Bowser, Culex (from Mario RPG, which IS canon cause every Mario is the same Mario according to an interview with Nintendo. Once again, should be stronger than them now.), etc. I love Tricky, but considering Mecha Sonic could handle their top guns like Sonic and Mario together and STILL beat them, then he stands no chance.
After reading the story and watching the cover, I would assume this whole series will end off with a final showdown with tricky and mecha. Maybe when they do fight though, you could add a secret twist or something with tricky taking the emeralds after mecha goes to his matalleix form and he uses them to boost himself so it becomes a much more even of a fight. Or maybe instead of that you could have hank help out tricky this one time, and they would team up but constantly be arguing in the side. This stuff probably won’t happen but I thought it was some cool ideas!
The document itself definitely fits this, especially considering Tricky is definitely a formidable opponent with his Improbability Drive, heck Tricky himself has probably MORE power than all 7 Emeralds combined Also if you haven't watched Madness Combat 11: Expurgation, at the end, the Auditor gets the shattered halo which makes him basically unstoppable.

I feel like WB Shaggy would be the last person Mecha would fight, because once Mecha gets all the Emeralds, Shaggy would see how big of a threat he would be, so he would have to deal with Mecha himself should he get all 7 emeralds.
i know this wouldn't really work from a story stand point but i think it would be really cool if you did a mecha sonic vs fleetway super sonic. although, i do think that it could work if you do an alternate universe thing where fleetway comes to this universe and fights with mecha, ending in a draw where both fighters retreat.

Chaos Emeralds should work in other dimensions/universes. For example, in SMBZ the Chaos Emeralds work in Mario's world despite originating from Sonic's world. Also fleetway wins easily.
The improbability drive vs the 7 chaos emeralds Some say improbability drive is the clear winner here u still say they are very evenly matched given they are the very bond that holds Sonic's world together (sonic unleashed) and were all sonic needed to defeat Solaris: a god like creature able to bend time and space to it's liking and we've already seen mecha is damn near super sonic levels with just 1 emerald and is near unstoppable with simply 4 (smbz episode 6) if he had the whole 7 set it would literally be the super sonic vs Solaris fight all over again given the improbability drive apparently can warp reality to its liking and Mecha is already much stronger than super sonic in his own super form if smbz episode 6 is anything to go off of Very interesting fight idea, but also a very easy one to take for granted and make lopsided idgaf who wins just hope they both show off all they have....of course that is if they fight again in the future when Mecha eventually succeeds or fails at the hand of BF and the crew but like.....it ain't lookin' to hot

The improbability drive vs the 7 chaos emeralds
Some say improbability drive is the clear winner here u still say they are very evenly matched given they are the very bond that holds Sonic's world together (sonic unleashed) and were all sonic needed to defeat Solaris: a god like creature able to bend time and space to it's liking and we've already seen mecha is damn near super sonic levels with just 1 emerald and is near unstoppable with simply 4 (smbz episode 6) if he had the whole 7 set it would literally be the super sonic vs Solaris fight all over again given the improbability drive apparently can warp reality to its liking and Mecha is already much stronger than super sonic in his own super form if smbz episode 6 is anything to go off of
Very interesting fight idea, but also a very easy one to take for granted and make lopsided idgaf who wins just hope they both show off all they have....of course that is if they fight again in the future when Mecha eventually succeeds or fails at the hand of BF and the crew but like.....it ain't lookin' to hot
