I don't know, but instead of "Himiss" you could use "Mit". I mean it is a mix of both and sounds kinda like "mid", so.. it would express the neutral feeling pretty good.

I recently finished “Cemetery Boys” by Aiden Thomas and “So you want to talk about race” by Ijeoma Oluo. Both were total hits for me! Such great books 😊
The nurse part of my brain was just staring at the veins in your arms like 😍😍😍. I’m gonna have to go back and rewatch this and actually pay attention.

I recently read, "Sunkissed" by Kasie West and it was a big hit for me. It kinda had some Dirty Dancing vibes to it but more modern. Anyway I loved it and I love most of Kasie West's books.
This is a really cool way of doing the books I’ve recently series. Please do this more often; it’s fun!

I loved The Space Between Worlds and am looking forward to reading Winter's Orbit.
As soon as I saw Hit, I knew I'll finally start READING 'The Gravity of Us' which has been sitting on my shelf for years.
Thought it was a science fiction from the title but was disappointed when discovered it was contemporary. But now I've made myself accustomed to enough contemporary to know I can like contemporary too, if it contains heartfelt stories. I know Jesse's Hit/Miss game won't fail me, so I'm going to give this book a go!

I read the Winter's Orbit. It was a hitmiss for me and Happyly Ever Afters was a miss for me.
I got a new book! I rarely get new books, partly because I'm not reading much (besides Fanfiction). The Book is Six of Crows in the Collectors Edition! The most beautiful book I've even seen!
But first I finish the Silmarillion.

Happily ever after‘s was actually one of my favorite books that I read this year :)
Irrelevant but i just finished the all for the game trilogy. And let me just say that whole thing was a hit for me. Especially the last book, when the official shock of "i thought this was just a book about sports and friends" wore off , the characters are well written and i have found myself realizing more and more how realistic they are. All the relationships are on point. Just. Yes.

I want to read The Space Between Worlds. I am sad to say that the invisible life of Addie LaRue was a miss for me, but One Last Stop (which is surprising because it is out of my comfort zone) was a hit for me and is looking to be my favourite book for this month.

I haven’t read The Last Hours trilogy because of the fact that I refuse to read a trilogy from her until it’s completed because of the Lord of Shadows ending. And I’m so sad to hear that the final book to that trilogy isn’t being released until November 1st 2022

I definitely felt the same way about Happily Ever Afters. Like everything that happened felt very juvenile, and I get she’s in high school, but the choices she made were always just terrible throughout the book

Jesse, I have a book recommendation for you. So I know you love kpop and so do I, so I thought this would be the perfect book for you. It's a book called "Shine" by Jessica Jung (yes, THE Jessica Jung from Girls Generation) The book is about this girl named Rachel who is Korean-American and trying to make it in the kpop industry. She eventually makes it into a group, but soon has to face the pressures of being an idol. She also meets this boy, but she can't date him because of the dating ban. I think you would like this book because you like kpop plus it's written by someone who was once in the industry!
I don't know how you feel about rereading books, but I know for me, even though I read SciFi quite a bit and read a LOT of it when I was younger, there's always a bunch of stuff that I just don't get until like the second or even third time I read it. Totally normal to have SF go over your head.
Jesse, Take Me Tonight was definitely a hit for me I could not put the book down and had to know what happened .
Cassie's books are 90% teen angst, romance, and drama. I haven't read any of her books since Queen of Air and Darkness because I was so disappointed that she didn't do more on the political side of things and just focused on the drama. I do plan to read the rest of the books in the shadowhunter world but I need a good long break from the drama.

i loved chain of iron because angst is the thing that keeps me breathing, but i can definitely understand where you are coming from. like if i cared about the plot (don't judge me) i would have been disappointed lol

I read Chain of Iron, and liked it up until the ending. I was SO mad about that ending that I almost threw the book. Also, my most recent read that I really enjoyed was Witchshadow by Susan Dennard, mainly for the plot twists.
I think that if he liked The Sky Blues he would also enjoy I Wish You All the Best, too.
The last book I read was Fated Throne from Zodiac Academy series...Himiss😔... Worst part.. ends in a cliffhanger and next book release date is December!!!

nooooo i loved chain of iron😭. It wasnt as good as cog, but i enjoyed the plot, especially the murder mystery. the plot twist blew me away and the angst....was perfect! I respect ur opinion tho

It hurts me to say it, but Eragon is getting more and more a MISS for me. Book 1 and 2 were fantastic! But in book 3: All the book cares about is if he and Arya will come together. And I hate Love Stories disguised as fantasy.
