Try using white vinegar instead of fabric softener. Provides softness while removing any waxes/residue. Signed a fan and clothing maintenance engineering specialist 😂
Wow, thanks for the tip!!
I heard that tip before! I think I'm going to use this tip! Thank you!
I love how she models the pieces, herself, and does a good at that.. you are inspiring 😊❤
Thanks so much! 🙏🏾
Lawrd, you are making my "To Do List" too freakin long...geezzzź
🤣 At least these are a quick project
Even though I've worked in the fashion industry for more than 30 years and am 59 years old, I'm not an expert. I like watching your videos since I usually pick up something new. I'm ashamed to admit that throughout my entire sewing career, I have misused the seam ripper. I never found out the purpose of the ball mechanism. One of my old school teachers at F.I.T. forbade us from using seam rippers. She did not want anyone to scrimp and save money or accidentally ruin the garments. I was picking up slow sewing techniques.
I have retired from the Fashion Industry 15 years ago. Yes I will use this technique in your video. I discover a fresh method for enhancing a pair of jeans' width. You've offered me a new viewpoint on how it should look rather than the conventional one. Keep up the good work. Happy to see students attend your class. Much Success to you.
Those are beautiful. They should be in the collection! ✊🏾
Thank you 💕
OMG! I was literally thinking I wanted to reuse my old jeans into a wide leg pair and look what you posted! I love them!
Those are COLLECTION WORTHY!!! GREAT JOB❤🎉
Those came out cute, and I love that you put the waist of the dark jean at the bottom! Such cute design!
You are so right, the feed is awful! But regardless when your video comes up, I will go in and like all the comments. YW!😊😊
I like the pants you’re wearing now those are adorable
Thanks so much!! Those are from my brand. They’re the Criss Cross joggers.
@@BlueprintDIY where is your site with your clothing line it
SEWWWWWW CUTE!! I like your version better than the original! Well done! 💙🩵💙🩵
So happy that the upcycles are coming back!!
Those turned out much better than I thought. Love them!!!❤
Thank you 💕
You know your bad at what you do continue on. ❤❤❤
OMG OMG OMG I have been googling trying to see how to make my jeans wide leg and you posted this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤ This is why I will support you forever. I may even fly back and forth and take your class 😂
Love these. They look great and have a sense of humor. You see what they came from.
Angelina they came out so nice, I really was worried when you were cutting thinking the same but these are awesome. Definitely adds personality
Super CUTE!! Have you thought of trying inserting a quilted blanket cut out on jeans? ❤😊
I've seen THESE jeans and have them as one of my FAVORITES to try to up-cycle with jeans I already have! So, I'm grateful for your HELP!
Yayyy, I’m so glad to help!
Thank youuuuuuu, 🥰!
Absolutely LOVE these pants! I have to make them and i have no excuse not too!! ❤
Can't wait for the collection to drop.
More, please...I love upcycle.
Just clever! I never would have thought to add the gusset upset down! It gives an awe inspiring vibe.
Yes, when I saw it I knew I had to try it!
I had exactly the same jeans on my pinterest AND upcycle list for a couple weeks hahaha
Yayyy! Great minds think alike!
I didn’t know what the little ball on the seem ripper was for. I learned something new from you, ❤😊…
🔥 As ALWAYS, you NEVER disappoint! I love the distressed look aaaaand your version actually looks BETTER! ❤ You know me, still can't sew, but if I could, I would definitely make. Guess another run to mama's house... "MAMA, she did it again... I found something else I want you to sew for me!" 😆🤣 Thanks for sharing ANOTHER banger with your added FLAVOR to it! 🫶🏾
😂 Moms are the best!
Very neat! ❤❤ yes so happy to see more upcycles 💓
They look very comfortable and good on you. However, I'm turning 76 years old next month; and, I love wearing my pull on, old lady jeans. When I was a lot younger I would have tried to make myself a pair of those jeans. I have been trying to figure out how to make a pair of long, pleated pants that do not look like pants (I want them to look like a long, pleated skirt). I owned a manufactured pair (with matching jacket) back in 1979. I wish I had kept them.
I don't know your name yet, but you're the next 'Nancy'! Love!
Inspired to try something with cut off jean shorts because it’s hot as heck right now!
Hi
Adorable, as usual. Something to think about for jeans. Thank you.
These turned out SO DOPE.
Super funky, I like those a lot💙💙💙💙👏👏👏👏
Thank you 💕
You did a great job on those! I like the doc Martin's with the jeans, and the bustier made the whole look pop!❤❤
Thanks so much ☺️
@@BlueprintDIY you're welcome!
❤you are rocking these pants 🎉 amazing
LIke you, I love these more than the barrel jeans! I was intrigued by the barrel jeans, but knew they wouldn't suit my body well. These are a great answer!
Yes, I think they’re way more versatile 👌🏾
Well done! The styling at the end looks sooooo great on you. Love it!
Thank you so much!!
I love how the pants turned out! Love the fit and ease of a full long length pant leg! And paired with the corset the whole outfit is a vibe! ❤
Thanks so much!!
The Barrel Jean is awesome ....however this design is so unique....Love the fullest of the orignal pant w/the contrasting darker denium...YES, I will be making....
Yaaaaasss! Angelina, beautiful job!
Thanks so much!!
Your pair looks better than the inspiration. Love that the added fabric is upside down. I've always loved wide-legged / elephant pants. I actually still have a box of all my old wide leg jeans from high school days in the 90s in storage.
Wow, you were really smart to keep those!
I love this! Like your other videos but I Looooove these diy upcycle tutorial videos ❤
I absolutely love you, this is definitely going to be done. I have been working very hard on your tuxedo white shirt with the sleeves cut for sides. Lesson learned...you have to do the math formula you talked about...I struggled but i won. I am proud, thankful for your sharing your talents.
Yes . Am making a pair of those jeans. ❤❤❤
❤❤❤ I see the denim rivets on mine in the outer seam
I am doing this.
I love them, you make it look so easy. Beautiful
I wanna try this!!! Thanks for this clip! - Lorrie Lean 🎉🎉☺️

It looks great!
What do you think about adding the back pockets near the bottom, but above the hem? That way you could have usable leg pockets!
I absolutely love this. Thank you!
I love them , definitely will make one for myself
This will be my first project after I move into my new place. I have the jeans already thanks to the outlet! lol
Yayyy, and congrats on the new space!

Google stop it. Typo freaken, yes I will be trying this idea.
Yasssssssssss! Girl, I will definitely be making these SOON. Those jeans need to be in my closet. Which sewing machine did you use?
I’m using my Janome HD9, but it will work on any heavy duty machine without much effort.
Can you tell me how I can make a simple barrel dress
Hey BlueprintDIY, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made.
I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
🔥 🔥🔥
Hey, soak those jeans in Coke! I learned that from Fit-to-Stitch years ago. Keep up the good work.
Wow, thanks for the tip!
Love the belt, where did it come from?
I thrifted it years and years ago. I hardly wear it because most pants don’t have wide enough belt loops 😆
@@BlueprintDIY it looks stunning on you!
❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❣️
The vast majority of people don't pay anywhere near $700 for a pair of pants in their lifetime.
