I’ve enjoyed watching the clunker whacking series. Lots of very nice bifaces and a great assortment of materials. The box of unknapped clunkers will keep someone busy for quite a while. Very generous of you to give away all of that nice rock.

This clunker series has been great for newer knappers such as myself. Learned a lot and have had some great success in thinning out my clunkers. I could really use more practice though 😂

My kids and I have begun trying to flint knap materials we’ve found locally and in driving distance. Mostly Michigan 😢 and Ohio 😊.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your technique unfold with each biface. It has caused me to realize that I have focused too much on certain areas of the stone to such a degree that I failed to keep in mind what I was going for.....a biface first and then a point. I would get two sides looking great and discover that I had a problem area which was entirely non-correctable without breaking the point. Patience, patience, patience !

That looks like good rock. I've only ever knapped a single piece of black novaculite and it was great.

Man i would love to win that box what you call a clunker box looks awesome to me I’ve never worked buffalo river before and have always wanted to i dont generally make large points so being able to spall them out and make really good arrowheads would be my primary focus
