xenoverse 2 could never
Tenkaichi 3 u had a few moves making him use the other arm (even by mistake like generic grapple in base) raging blast 2 fixed that and now all moves have him use 1 arm only
Xenoverse 2 had him use only 1 all the time (even when defending and cutscenes 😅) but i recall some moves in Tenkaichi and Raging Blast games require characters to have both arms in order to make the animations work
Also muslty censorship issue (outside Saga) nowdays thanks to Heroes and Kakarot we can have him it only 1 arm

Future Gohan was never "censored", having a character with one arm would just require extra backend work to make it work properly, especially back then
It's essentially an entirely unique character, when all the others would depend on heavy asset reuse- and in a game where the systems might depend on characters having two arms to visually work
I'd expect Father Vs Son at some point. Would be a good way to reveal Bardock, Goten and Kid Trunks. Maybe even Cell Jr.
Hero vs villain or something like that would be cool to introduce bardock tbh. Could also introduce great saiyaman and maybe ginyu like that too lol.

17 is specified as the DBS version, the same as Freezer and Broly, so that confirms the existence of a DBZ version guaranteed
Well for Broly's case itis not guarenteed like the others since the Japenese version only labels him as Broly
and it doesn't have [超(which translate to super)]after his name like goku and Vegeta so we still dont know if Z broly is base game

Also we will most likely see Frieza (Z) have all his forms, maybe even 100%, while Super will only have Golden as a transformation

I find it dumb that many ppl say that Tenkaichi 4 will be released in 2025. We're not even halfway through 2024 and the most recent official trailer has shown so much progress in development. I feel like this game will be released this year between August and December. I agree with letting the devs work on the game to finalize it (Not many studios do that today)
Also looking at the character roster to determine when the game will be released is also kinda dumb. The characters are good as we get a lott of character per trailer but what you want to look at is the development the game underwent between trailers. That's why i believe the game will be released later this year.

i wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of sinergy buff system between master-apprentice, and i'd expect to get some other categories to do this like father-son, brothers, team members(for like tournament of power dividing by universes maybe), etc like other games from dbz do. It feels like they'll try to add more depth to this game than the old tenkaichi 3, hopefully that doesn't ruin the fun aspect of the game and hopefully the in-game monetization with dlcs isn't too bad, but ig that might be too much to hope for. On a different note, i'd personally like if the rooster isn't actually like this in-game, there's so many ways to make it easier to find the character u want if you just do like they did in the old tenkaichi games where you select 1 character and then it opens the menu with the transformations rather than just showing every chacter and transformation in 1 screen.

Most of my roster prediction has come true so far. Outside of base dragonball, gt, and movies
I think outfits/skins are going to be a thing in this game. They might have used super trunks with sayan armor on the trailers but maybe the sayan armor is just one of his outfits, the blue coat being other and maybe even coatless and longer hair could make it as outfits aswell. There was a ds game called dragon ball kai ultimate butouden that had something similar to this with outfits and acessories you could add. And im sure other db games had it too but thats the one that comes to mind, specially because the customization could be similar.

Great content! Nobody really knows about the release of the game what you stated makes sense. However, the way I see it is that they advertise way too much and to keep doing this until 2025 I don't think it's possible. Generally speaking when Games start advertising this heavily the release is a couple months away not a full year. Personally I would love to have the game By October/November, if that's not the case though a late 2024 release is almost certain. And keep in mind there is games that take 2 years to be completed this game has being in production for 5 years. So 6 months should be more than enough to apply the finishing touches. That's my wishful thinking at least lol.

Are Base Future Trunks and Super Saiyan Future Trunks separate roster slots, or can one turn into the other?
Both, they take up a space in the roster as well as being able to transform into them
If they follow the same structure as previous BT games,each character has its own slot and every transformation is threated as another character so they get their own slot so you can just pick them instead of starting as base and transforming
