TJOC is one of the best fan-made FNAF games and it was impossible to beat for a while till the dev turned the difficulty down. Matpat had a real hard time before the patches😂

I just wanted to say Insym I think the point you made at 2:18:05 to 2:20:35 was completely valid and excellent, especially with how CZcamsrs only show the exciting parts without all the grinding they did to get there like you do, and it really makes me appreciate the amount of effort you go through to bring us this content and show that games have flaws and nothing is without struggle. I mean not everyone has time to watch a 4 hour video tho. That’s why videos usually only show exciting or “good” content. I don’t think there’s anything necesarrily wrong with that because it gets them views. Lots of people also have separate channels where they post the full vod alongside the cut version on their main channel. If anything, I’d say the cut down versions are very convenient and I am thankful for them a lot of the time.
I personally genuinely enjoyed these games anyway but maybe I'm just easily satisfied or whatever
Insym is the first youtuber/streamer that I've seen get the hang of the game mechanics relatively quickly
Well considering fnaf series created much of nowadays horror games mechanics it makes sense he knows some of then, a lot of this game is close to phasmophobia cant beat the king He knows it all!

I was cringing so hard at office when it told him 20 times to flash Freddy if he's at a door, and then he just looks at him for 10 seconds, and when he tp's away he gets up to flash and he's like "huh where'd he go"

I think the time was spent replaying the same stages over and over not the devs outdoing themselves. The game was just more difficult and required an agonizing amount of time each level.
@@ClosetSneeze ye true but by that regard fnaf sister location was longer with the excruciating gameplay and being repetitive, insym also called that out in his video that he had to remove such chunks from the video so the duration could be shorter. But here there's mostly gameplay that is really varied for 4 hours, that's where I meant the devs did a good job of bringing the true fnaf feel into a fan game 😁
Not sure if anyone told you Insym, but this game started out with a pretty interesting mode. You basically had to find things before the time ran out without getting caught and each level had different stipulations for the present danger.
Yeah, the game used to be a free roaming game where you just have to search for items and not die within a time limit, not too different from the 4th room.

@@Vanilluc I actually just got scared once among all of the jumpscares... specifically the first sleeping fallen one bcoz it is so loud and my volume is at max hahaha. Overall, the jumpscares was not scary at all
When I watched Markiplier play through this I thought I'd never sit and see it again but this has been very fun to watch again with somebody else who is playing it for the first time

I absolutely how batshit crazy the POV becomes in the first memory when you have low sanity, does a great job of visuallizing how it wokld probbably feel for someone going through the same thing in real life if it could happen.
I remember being so obsessed with this game, I used to rewatch playthroughs over and over, even tried drawing the characters a few times. I think this was the first real fangame I got into, and I remember loving it. FNaF has a special place in my heart, as does this fangame. It's amazing seeing it get that attention once more, it's like a spark just flickers on in the community each time a new fnaf game drops. Old games are replayed and new ones are created, its honestly rather incredible. Happy to see this community is still going strong after so many years < 3

I love this game. I think Nikson's so smart, basically turning Scott into Dr Frankenstein. I like the first 3 rooms best because it had the FNAF characters. To me, the noise that Bonnie makes when he gets you is absolutely the most terrifying sound in this game
The endoskeletons are the fnaf characters just with the fabric of their suits burnt off.

In the living room game, bonnie has another phase where it will peak into the keyhole before opening the doors. But I believe it's much shorter than the standing close to the door one. Also, the reason why freddy and foxy don't keep their timings, is because they will randomly stop when walking when not being paused, and that will put off their timings and often line them up.

The problem I have with this game is that the nights go on for way too long, it switches from playing and surviving the night to becoming a chore
thats the point, it’s not supposed to be short like fnaf which is 6-8 minutes, its more of a challenge if it’s longer and that’s what the creator wanted, i personally like the longer nights as they progressively get harder as you get closer

FNAF Franchise was always RNG
FNAF has always been one of those games where you just execute actions in a particular order to survive. There isn't much more difficulty you can add to that other than clusterfucking it like UCN did, or extending the length of the night and throwing in some curveballs every so often.
Definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I imagine there aren't too many more things you can do. The game had really good design decisions that seemed easy enough to figure out but hard enough to maintain and execute.
This game looks so cool and has such good VA, atmosphere, and story. I just wish it was a little more playable bc I can't deal with such long nights and such precise gameplay when I'm scaredd. Thanks for playing insym!
this video is longer than a movie and more enjoyable than a movie. even with the common boring parts, like the multiple losses and restarts, i still enjoyed every bit of the video. i keep rewatching this video

Hey, funny thing about the living room level, I remember that when I played it (and I'm not sure if this is still a thing) if you looked through the keyhole at the same time that Bonnie enters the door, he, for whatever reason, didn't kill you. I was on call with a friend and we were both laughing in fear and confusion. Thinking about it from a 3d perspective, he effectively walks past me to look in the room, doesn't see me, and leaves to walk past me again, completely disregarding my presence.

Having multiple foxys wasn’t laziness, they had to do it because there are only 2 animatronics that actually kill you, foxy and Chica, so if there was only one foxy at the door, the night would be extremely easy

Insym actually broke the part where he needs to place the parts of the animatronic in the furnace to burn them. The fallen thing animatronic that was staying close was here to just make it harder to put it in. You ARE supposed to be able to place it but it's just hard to do it. He broke it lmao.
I really hope you play Ultimate Custom Night. I have a feeling it would be your favorite in the series, hands down. The way you can choose to layer mechanics and have to be laser focused is really up your alley!

There's criticism and then there's constructive criticism and most people only focus on the criticism part, thus why it gets unliked to have at most times. I do love the reviews you give with the games and show all of your playthrough, or at least most with an explanation of why you cut out some, because it gives constructive feedback to the people who made the game and can give other people who are, will or might make games similar to the game with the feedback an idea of what to do to make their games better, even if it's only in a future game, like you had mentioned.

a fun thing about these games is that, despite not being scared anymore, it doesn't ruin the experience. the games are fun either way.
this game basically told the future. here the real Scott "dies" and stops making games. and our Scott retired. it's sad to see him go, but we still have everything he did for us.
