  • Magnetic fields have mysterious effects that can be dramatically counterintuitive, and they are ubiquitous throughout the Universe and can have influence on large scales.
    This lecture will explore how some of the exotic and energetic phenomena in the Universe can only be explained in terms of these magnetic fields that pervade space.
    A lecture by Katherine Blundell OBE

    Of all the implications that I mentally documented throughout the talk, that last bit about the distinction between the focus being “how” in physics, not the “why” was really important. Not just for the current efforts of discovery, but for the next gen of academics to ensure that any interventions we can deploy are targeted and specific. Electro-magnetism (since they have been proven to be one force decades ago) is indeed probably the main driving physical force in the universe. Gravity can be explained in terms of electromagnetic forces, the reverse is not true.

    • @earthexpanded
      @earthexpanded Před 2 lety +4

      Pardon me, however the reverse is in fact true.
      If we consider that there are "larger and smaller" systems (planets, stars, black holes, and so on), each composed of smaller systems, then from pattern inference we can infer that:
      -there is a spectrum of smaller and smaller particles, with no apparent reason for an end, and
      -there are significantly more of particles at a given mass as the mass decreases (significantly less quantity of black holes than atoms, for instance).
      And from our awareness that some particles can pass through others unabated, as we see evidence for from the ability of neutrinos to pass through the Earth, we can then consider a previously unconsidered orbital pattern able to be formed. Specifically, that it is likely that there are particles that are gravitationally locked in an orbit about particles of which they pass through unabated, such that when they pass out the opposite side of the body they are unable to escape the gravitational pull and are brought back towards the center of gravity. The subtle differences in the mass of these particles producing a spectrum of radial distances outward that they are able to travel. And thereby, gravity undoubtedly causes magnetism. In as much as anything can be said to be caused by another means within physics. Yes, there is nuance, but this is the basic matter of fact of how gravity does in fact explain magnetism.
      Alternatively, explanations for how gravity is caused by electromagnetic means are only really even present in the electric universe model. I would be happy to go into why the explanation provided by the EU is lacking. For instance, the entire model does not recognize that charge is emergent from a pressure balance of a given particle's pressure that it exerts by its own state with respect to the ethereal pressure in which the particle exists. Protons are "positive charges" on Earth but neutral no the sun because the ethereal pressure of the environment is sufficiently high that the particle, which behaved as "positive", becomes neutral. There is nothing intrinsic about charge and thus the principles of the electric universe, lacking this understanding, are simply not sufficiently descriptive of the true nature of reality, which is simple and elegant. While gravity is "weaker" it is only weaker when we are considering the gravity between two particles but when one system influences many, then the cumulative effect of many collective individual particles being caused to flow together by gravity emerges in an observable flow that we then see as a magnetic field.

    *Electric Universe
    I find it absolutely fascinating how, even with addressing Maxwell's right hand law, that electric current in space is only mentioned in passing. While when ones grasps just the most basic implications of said law, AND thus the FACT that it is electric CURRENT that is the CAUSE of magnetic fields, and not the other way around, this obviously smart lady clearly seems to miss the gist of what she's talking about; the universe is electric in nature, hence we can observe all these huge and powerful magnetic fields all through the universe...
    But with just the first sentence of the video's description, one might already figured that out; that's she, and she's not alone in that, is missing the glaringly obvious; we live in an electric universe.

    • @MGmirkin
      @MGmirkin Před 6 měsíci

      Exactly.
      Magnetism is putting the cart before the horse.
      You don't get magnetic fields without an electric current, period. Ferro-magnetism is merely a special case where the electric currents are simply bound Ampere currents at the atomic level.
      If you see magnetic fields out in the cosmos [ there are precious few "bar magnets" out in space], you **need** to ask: Where are the driving electric currents? What is driving them? Where are the electric fields / voltages? What is the circuit? Etc.
      A "magnetic universe' is a backwards cart-before-the-horse way of saying "an electric/plasma universe."

But astrophysics seems to be unable to step back from nuclear / gravitational theories which have repeatedly failed to predict anything and have been constantly contradicted in their actual predictions.

  • @MGmirkin
    @MGmirkin Před 6 měsíci +1

    If it's a "Magnetic Universe," it's an Electric Universe.
    Magnetic fields, per se, don't exist "in a vacuum" so-to-speak. You only get them from flowing electric currents. And ferro-magnetism is merely a special case where the electric currents are bound Ampere currents at the atomic level.
    Astrophysics absolutely needs to put the horse before the cart and stop and-waving about "magnetism" and go full-on electrodynamics. Acknowledge that electric currents are *required* to power cosmic scale magnetic fields, and that they actually **do things** in space. Then we can talk... Until they stop putting the cart before the horse, there's perhaps precious little to discuss, unless we're willing to discuss acknowledging electric currents as the primary driver of such structure/behaviors.
    There are precious few "bar magnets" in space.

    • @MGmirkin
      @MGmirkin Před 6 měsíci

      Whether one wants to call it an Electric Universe, Plasma Universe, Magnetic Universe, doesn't really matter. It's all the same electrodynamic song and dance. Dynamic/changing electric currents **drive** changing magnetic fields. You can't have one without the other [leaving bar magnets aside; again, there are precious few "bar magnets" in space]. This is basic physics 101 stuff...
      Wherever we see dynamic magnetic field "doing things," we should be actively asking: "Where are the electric currents that **must** be flowing **somewhere** to power these magnetic fields? What is **driving** those electric currents? Where's the circuit? What are the voltages? etc."

    What?!! Those "streaky things" or "magnetic ropes" have a name, they are Birkelande Currents, named after a Norwegian scientist. Their cause is not "unknown" they are obvious and expected. Ionised plasma must facilitate change flow, there there MUST be a magnetic field.

    • @MGmirkin
      @MGmirkin Před 6 měsíci

      "Birkeland Currents" are also known as "field-aligned currents." Literally, the currents follow or are guided by magnetic fields [themselves created by other electric currents].
      For much the same reason that electricl discharges in plasma will tend to form spiralling / helical shapes. (Charged particles rotated around the "field line" [itself not an actual object, just a kind of placeholder for magnetic field behavior], while also moving along the line, thus basically tracing a spiral / helix.)
      Again, stuff that Electric Universe / Plasma Cosmology have been taking about for decades or more... None of this is particularly baffling or new to us.

I am unaware of any convincing evidence for "black holes" and kinetic explosions really account for almost nothing in the universe... nor does gravity, for that matter. We don't know what is at the center of a galaxy, but we know for sure that it's not a black hole... since black holes are just fudge factor variables for the unknown.

    It's more fitting to call it electromagnetism, two sides of the same coin. Even in remnant magnetism in iron bar magnets, it would have needed current to form. Magnetism with out electricity is not evidence, it's theoretical and likely nonsense. The "gas" in space in the exposure of cosmic rays etc is always ionised (plasma) which is capable of Carrying current in space, which is where all the magnetic fields come from. The charge movement creates filaments, self contained by its own magnetic fields, and explains the galactic rotational curve, flat just like a homopolar motor, so dark matter cannot exist and was never needed.

    • @MGmirkin
      @MGmirkin Před 6 měsíci

      Furthermore, ferro-magnetism or "permanent" magnetism, is merely a special case of bog standard magnetic fields being generated by electric currents.
      The electric fields are simply "bound" Ampere currents at the atomic level rather than currents at a macroscopic "circuit" level.
      There's really no difference. It's **all** electrically driven. Period.
      Forwarding "magnetism" as the primary mover is putting the cart before the horse. Period.
      They've got it backwards / twisted.
      No electric current, no magnetic field.

    No. No, we don't know... We think that we know based upon calculations, but we really don't know most of that which science claims to be. But almost all of it is theoretical knowledge... Which is an oxymoron.
    The issue is that Western society has compartmentalized almost everything. But that's a mistake because very little, if anything, exists in and of itself.
    So, until science includes the "missing link" of the universe = ÆTHER into its equations, their theories will always be only theories, and they'll be missing a crucial component of all existence and their work will always be incomplete.
    The pervasive and inclusive nature of Æther means that unless it's accounted for, science will always only be theoretical. Because ÆTHER permeates everything. And nothing exists in a vacuum that is bereft of the ætheric

    There is only one thing that creates magnetic fields and that is electricity. Atoms are made from protons (positive charge) and electrons (negative charge) and so are actual electrical fields within themselves. We think and our central nervous systems work by way of electrical impulses. The environment in which we live (unless an astronaut) has a charge differential between the negatively charged earth and the positively charged ionosphere rising by about 100 Volts per metre up through the atmosphere. So, as we are obviously electromagnet beings living in a totally electric environment and which then creates magnetic fields. The force of electromagnetism is 10^39 or 1000 billion billion billion billion times more powerful than Newtonian gravity, or even how the Einstein’s (man and wife) fantasised about it, the bending of the Electromagnetic Spectrum in the presence of mater on a flat bit of rubber cloth. And due to knowing this, the SAFIRE Project was born and then developed, with it already moving onto phase 3.
