The Onyx Kids - Shasha, Shiloh, Shalom, and Sinead - lived in a big, 100-year-old house that that looked like a haunted mansion - creaky floors and all. It was the kind of scary house that made you feel like ghosts might come floating through the halls or that skeletons were waiting to jump out from behind doors and from inside dark closets. It was super creepy, but it was home, and they weren't really (too) scared.
One night Sinead was lying awake listening to the dogs who were whimpering and barking. She tried to go back to sleep but she had a bad feeling in her stomach. Just when she felt she was falling asleep a dark shadow passed over her. This is staring to feeling like a haunted house story right? At first she didn't know what it was, and then, suddenly, she realized - IT WAS A BAT!
She freaked out, rolled off the bed and crawled along the floor and into her sister Shalom's room and started screaming. Shalom woke up, didn't know why Sinead was screaming so, she started screaming too. The bat suddenly flew into the hallway - BAT ATTACK - and so Shalom quickly shut the bedroom door.
Even with all the screaming, their little brother Bad Baby Shiloh didn't wake up. They screamed at him to wake up, and then sister Shasha was there yawning in the doorway, and the all ran up the stairs to the very top of the house where their parents bedroom was - jumped into the bed screaming BAT and terrified.
Mom and Dad went into action. Mom called Animal Control while Dad suited up for war, trying to cover every inch of his body and grabbing a broom to somehow shepherd the bat away and heading back downstairs, into danger.
The kids thought they were safe, until they overheard Animal Control telling their Mom that the bat would make it's way to the highest part of the house. They looked at each other in terror - they were in the highest part of the house!
There was a sudden rustling in the closet, and the bat flew out and into the bedroom. Chaos broke loose as the kids, and Mom, ran back downstairs, passing Dad on the way.
The whole family ended up locking themselves in the basement, staying awake all night, playing games and telling scary stories, horror stories and keeping watch.
Animal Control showed up in the morning and caught the bat in two seconds, but also said there would probably be more. The family laughed it off - no, there couldn't be more. They were terrified of bats before this happened, and now, even more scared than they were.
But, just one week later Sinead was in her room when, in the reflection in the window, there - ANOTHER BAT! The family didn't hesitate - they moved out that night and never went back!

My house has 4 floors...
There is the basement, which has the TV room, bedroom, bathroom and the linen closet. The second floor is the living room, kitchen, dinette, another bedroom and bathroom, media/recreation room, and garage. The third floor are two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom, my sister's room, and the Guestroom. The fourth floor is the master bedroom, the balcony, and my room, and my own bathroom.
Yeah, the place where I live (Marietta, California) a lot of the nicer houses are 4 stories or 3 stories. Their house must've been in my area.
They took the food, bro, phone, and blamkie, but left the dad to fend for himself. wow.

Ok, heres one thing that happened in my familys cottage.
(also I was like 7 at the time.)
So we were going inside when my dad saw a bat inside the cottage, he was going upstairs and the bat was flying ALOT! My dad was running alot and he tried to catch the bat (it took like 10 Minutes) Me and my mom were in the car and i was using the tablet when I was watching my dad trying to grab the bat. My brother was outside. Then I searched on Google "lepakko" (it means bat in finnish) and then my dad just got the bat and it flied from my dads hand then he got it and released it outside.
Also we were really curious how it got inside.
I love sticking my head out of my window, because bats fly just a few metars from it. And I love to watch them.

My story
So in grade 4 I had no friends except my cousin and one day this girl names Tianna and I were talking about how we hated this one girl and then from there on we became friends we played roblox and had a lot of fun well before winter break, before winter break me and her had so much fun we gossiped talked about boys and laughed a lot and a week during winter break we called each other to play roblox then I just wanted to get off roblox and my computer so I just stayed of because my dad was downloading something that took a week and like a day before I go to school I go on roblox there was so much drama so this girl in a group chat was fighting with tianna and my other friend they fought so much I couldn't read it all but I did see the girl fighting with tianna mention my name and called me ugly and flat I just turned off the computer and went to bed and then I got really excited when I saw tianna and all she said to me is oh hi where is bismen and I am like .......... in her line and then she became more rude to me she called me ugly and dark that put me in bad depression I neve thought on how I looked I wished I died because I thought I wasn't good for this world and then in the summer I finally had the confidence and told her I can't be friends with someone who makes me want to commit suicide and she started creating more drama say " I want to die I want to kill myself I want to cut myself " and sent me a picture of a cut it looked like she picked a scab I just said I am not your therapist I am not a perfesonal and she made it seem like she was the victim all summer she ruined my summer so when grade 5 started I said how much did you cut she said well all my cuts heeled really fast and blah blah blah grade 5 was awkward I made more friends though that I still have to this day I also made an amazing group of friends outside of the school I still worry about my looks and I still have depression at the back of my head but don't be afraid to lose a friend it makes you stronger

My dad had to deal with a bat that was in our attic, my dad caught the bat in a plastic bag and put it in the garage, but once my mom got back home, she said she saw the bat flying in the garage. It had teared a hole in the bag and went loose. It got out of the house luckily
