Myanmar Buddhist Pilgrims in the Golden Rock

The Golden Rock is a granite boulder, stands at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo at height of 1100 m
y2500 years ago a pagoda was built on the rock , the site became sacred to the Buddhism
During the full moon of March, the place is over crowded with Thousands of pilgrims
pilgrims visit the rock, sleep beside it pray, meditate and paste gold leaf on the rock
