Little Hannah is a delight. I really miss those little voices jabbering and giggling. Kids are so very curious and brave. They have no worries about making mistakes. Everything is new and fantastical. And then, just like that, they hop down and are off to find the next adventure. I’m glad you shared your little munchkin with us.

Marta my husband was wondering what I was watching as I was laughing out loud - from broken brushes to your angelic side-kick (little helper) this video was darling! I almost split my side laughing when when the little hand started making splashes, using her little fingers and tapping the brush. I must admit that I was waiting for the jar of water to flip over :) Priceless!! We are on holiday surge lock down so it was great to have a laugh or two!

It's been crazy here in Texas. No power, water, and empty shelves at grocery stores. Icy roads, so stuck at home,.....AGAIN! Most stores closed cuz no power or water. I couldn't watch CZcams for week cuz had to save my cell phone. And no TV.
Finally my son came and got me to take to his house. He didn't like to see me all bundled up to stay warm. But I didn't have time to get any crafting supplies. Just crochet hook and thread. So been crocheting mini doilies for journal embellishments.
So now I'm catching up on your videos. I'm anxious to get home to get back to my journal projects!!! Tomorrow.

This is why I am so glad I have one of those old style glass mats & cutting tools/shapes. I can cut out thhe circle without destroying the rest of the paper sheet.

Along with the lovely creative lesson, you've given us a lesson about time. We don't need to wait for that perfect moment of free time to create. Just seize the moment and get to it and include the children. Hannah's happy participation is an example of having time together AND creating!

It's so delightful to see Hannah painting right alongside you. I sometimes have 3 or 4 grandkids in the craft room with me, or painting around the dining room table! They bring me so much joy! 2021 will be a better year when we can enjoy the children and encourage their creativity!

Love this! I had to watch this video twice. The first time I was so caught up in Hannah's cuteness and conversation that I completely forgot to watch the steps in Marta's project. So I watched it again so I could pay more attention to Marta this time. LOL!!! This was just as adorable as the first painting project with Emily and Hannah on Emily's channel!

I like the fact that you are doing a little bit of everything and not stuck on one particular medium. I think you should put all your ideas in a book close your eyes and just put your finger down and whatever you land on that is what you work on for that video. Hannah’s voice is adorable!!😘

I looked for this video specifically today because I felt for something with circles for art journal inspiration. Oh my goodness, how warm my heart felt watching this video today, Marta. Especially after watching your most recent 2 videos for this year (2022). It was just so meaningful to me. Knowing how you and Hannah have evolved even after just a year. Of course I would tell you. It was too important not to. I also few days ago watched the video of you making the vintage door on the notebook cover with leftover chipboard. And (not in a bad way) I felt you sounded tired. Turns out it was during the time where you were literally DAYS away from bringing Hannah into this world. I thought to myself, "of course she's tired! 🤣" and still you managed to give us something beautiful and inspirational. Some of these older videos i remember and go back to frequently for sparks of inspiration, or when I'm washing an extra full sink of dishes. Haha. You are fantastic. I've been loving watching you evolve over the past 5 years, and watching your family grow up and become who they are meant to be is also a wonderful gift. Thank you for everything you do. If it feels like we just put the tree up, then it stays up until valentines day. But if it feels like its been up forever or is taking up valuable floor space it goes. I love the lights on these grey rainy days, they make sad days cozy days instead.

Exactly! I had to do one Christmas gone because so many ideas were coming at me and I was not working as fast as the ideas and I was forgetting as well, that is when I came up with the Idea Journal so I wrote down as fast as the ideas came and when I completed one I ticked it off.

I can sit and watch you create for hours. I spend some days watching video after video. My favorite art that you create is mix media. Now if I can just get my confidence up to create something. I have purchased so many things but just have no confidence.

May have forgotten this comment. I love your use of the circles since I have purchased a paper collection set that includes numerous circle images for fussy cutting. I have not known what to do with them. Perhaps I can cut out the circles with one of my punches. I need to try making some Christmas tree directions using those circles. Perhaps a simpler and shorter creation to make for Christmas, 2022. Happy Near Year 2022. Many blessings to you in 2022!
