This new track is significantly bigger than other ones I've seen watching spectator drags. I think it's at least 50% bigger. If the other ones are a mile long, this one is more than half a mile longer.
New Smyrna Speedway is a half mile oval which is a bit bigger than other popular spectator racing tracks such as The Freedom Factory at three eights of a mile or Seekonk Speedway at a third of a mile. Good observation. Much appreciated jask
@FloridaManRacingChannel yeah it felt good too, last night was supposed to be a 1 time thing only with bringing the mustang out there. But since it did so well, I may have to do it a few more times.
Too bad I sold my truck now I cannot call you out I'm pretty sure it was gonna be a close one .The good thing with your car is the hooks really good out the whole plus the turns you wave a good setup 💪
They ended that about this time last year citing insurance reasons. Those were really exciting, hope they bring them back one day. Appreciate ya Arrive
Yeah not everybody is used to reacting off of a flag, they do have a light that goes Green Way up and turn one, but it goes Green from nothing. Unlike a tree at a drag strip. But yeah that's part of the reason why I was beating everybody is because of reaction time and traction.
@@JustinOtterholt Good reactions off the launch, and good driving :D That's awesome you'd won these. You had low trends on your tires? I like to come out next month with my WS6 for the fun of it.
@Sno3Bird I've got some pretty decent tires on the Mustang, I won't be at the event in june, I'll be out of state visiting family, but I'll be back for the July event. I also just won the last event on May 11th. And yes unless I'm racing against something that I can easily beat, it's unlikely that you'll ever see somebody out react me at the line
@@effyfil4277 I've had this car for an extremely long time, I just never raced it on a regular basis. Before this season I had only ran it at two events before and neither of them were at New Smyrna
Let's see you come out and do it better. This isn't a drag strip, it's not as easy to launch a car out there as it is on a prepped drag strip or a flat road.
@elguapo9628 why would it be an excuse? I'm the guy that beat him and won the whole event. @elguapo9628 what I do know for a fact is that you are not a spectator racer, because if you were then you would know how difficult it is your first time doing it. And I would've heard of you by now. @hardbody_Santiago96 yeah the crazy part is I had junk tires on the front and still won, my front tires had 560 treadwear.
What happened to the main event style race that they used to have?

Hard to come from behind so a good start is always key. Much appreciated Kit
