Vox Pop: How important is the youth vote in the upcoming election?

Wits Vuvuzela attended the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation’s Youth Summit on Saturday, May 11, where youth representatives from political parties sat on a panel to answer burning questions.
The summit was meant to get the youth actively participating in politics and finding solutions to the country’s issues, but tension-filled arguments and emotions got in the way of this. When the dust had settled, we asked attendees how important they think their votes will be in the upcoming election.
