I love this set! It looks genuinely so great, and the fact they put it on a baseplate AND included the Minecart system just makes this phenomenal!!
As a British person, I am very impressed by you calling the Philosopher’s Stone by its correct term.
It’s called the “Sorcerer’s Stone” in the land of freedom because the book publishers didn’t think the children are smart enough to want to read a book based on a Philosopher. True story

Yeah the British always call people “ignorant Americans” when we use the term “sorcerer” idk, in my opinion “philosopher” sounds cooler
Nah I'm American and I say philosopher's stone. That's what it is in the movie and I thought that's what it was in the books, or I might have just got the British version. Anyway, it sounds better and if you say sorcerer's stone you're just wrong.

As a wee lad I was obsessed with LEGO HP. I think my nostalgia will win over my willpower and make the steep purchase. This set is amazing but also could be used as a mean castle MOC parts pack. Same with the new HP mini Hogwarts castle. Both are cool sets on their own and make great supplementary part packs! Awesome review Ash

The quill and coins are referencing the old chrome coin pieces. And the Roman numerals translate to the various sets that feature Gringotts

This set looks FANTASTIC!
I really think that the underground section should be a separate set or even done somehow different - I think they needed to put a lot of effort into "construction" side of it and the design effect is nice, but not that crazy good... Gringotts itself from the outside looks beautiful, maybe inside I would like little little more space, but it's really good anyway... The dragon I would also skip if I could - maybe again another set. A lot of thrown into the one set which is making it spectacular for sure, but have the feeling that all separated could have done great job and be more affordable for fans and allow "crazy fans" to have all the sections...
Plus the price, for not much more you are able to have whole Diagon Alley (not mention that historically it was way cheaper) - really difficult to justify and display is another issue because of how tall it is as a whole set
@marcinkaniaburka3422 4800 pieces for £370 is very good in my opinion. Just because the price is high does not mean the price is bad

32:44 So Griphook’s face cut is not from Gringotts scene but from the Malfoy Manor scene before when Bellatrix cut his face because she was mad cause he wasn’t sure if the Sword of Gryffindor is forgery or not. Does that mean we are getting the Malfoy Manor set with his face print reused??? I hope so….

As a LEGO fan, I think the bats need an upgrade, especially with the new spider mold

I feel like they should have gone the jabba’s palace route and sold the two sections separately for people who want to display the bank with the rest of diagon alley, since people who would do that would have to have the underground section off to the side somewhere
20:00 is the intent to somehow attach the dragon over the front of the building.
edit: Might explain the broken glass around too. Also its ontop on the front of the manuals

I'm not normally bothered by small missing details or inaccuracies, but that Gringotts sign looks so bad.
Idk but the creature on the fang brush poster kinda looks like the Swooping Evil from Fabtastuc Beats or an Acromantula with those eyes
I think the roof is detachable for the reason that you can play that scene when the dragon comes out.

Diagon Alley remastered done. Gringotts remastered done. How about Knockturn Alley? Would be cool to connect it from the back of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes or Gringotts - have never got a Leaky Cauldron set too!

I saw somone fix it by cutting off the inward edges of both of the stickers and it didnt look too bad but its a shame they couldnt just make it a print

LXX (thousands) CDXVII is 70, 417, I suppose the full number should be LXXVI with bars over them, then CDXVII.
Seems like the number 70417 is an unused gap between Pirates III and Hidden Side. idk
Shouldn't the 76,000 be LLXV all with bars over them then M, as M is the Roman numeral for a thousand. 🤔

Anyone else find it kinda lazy from Lego to include 2 faces on one head I think when you spend this much on a set you should get 2 facial expressions per character
I think the complete opposite. They could’ve just left the other side blank, or just slightly change the expression. Raise an eyebrow, close a smile etc. I think this is incredible.
