    Just saw your video on Robert Johnson's 'Me And The Devil Blues' and it was fantastic! I'm thinking of learning how to play the guitar and mainly play blues songs. What type of acoustic guitars would you recommend for primarily playing blues?

    • @FeedbackGuitarAcademy
      @FeedbackGuitarAcademy  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Thanks- Im glad you liked it! Any steel string acoustic will be good for your first guitar. Just pick one in your budget and if you buy it at a store let them know its your first guitar and they'll help you set it up.

    Percussion Part Similar to Frailing Banjo Style, except all High E and B String Notes would be Struck Downwards.🙂

    • @FeedbackGuitarAcademy
      @FeedbackGuitarAcademy  Před 2 lety

      Yes its very similar- That's actually how I learned to do this on a guitar! Thanks for watching and commenting!

    You have a great channel.
    This is a perfect breakdown of the song I’m just learning.
    I chose it to have a simple note progression to learn the right hand technique.
    I have heavy electric strings on one acoustic guitar.
    My “proper” phosphor bronze strings are on the new acoustic and are hard to bend, very hard on my fingers.
    The steel strings are easier to play, same gauge or even heavier and fret with less buzz.
    The sound? I almost prefer the sound of regular electric steel strings on the acoustic.
    I play electric with very heavy strings no issues in all tunings.
    I use pick, slide and just learning fingerpicking now.
    Any thoughts on this?

    • @FeedbackGuitarAcademy
      @FeedbackGuitarAcademy  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for watching and commenting! If the strings you use sound good and are easier to play then there's no problem with that. You might consider getting some lighter gauge acoustic strings though. I personally change gauges and brands too often to have a preference, but I recommend the lights or special lights for my students and they usually like them. An 11 on the high e string will be easier to bend and play and some people even prefer 10's. Hope that helps
