My aunt has them now, but I had never sewn destruction like that until they showed me the pictures when I was about 11 or 12. It looked like the town had been bombed. I was only 3 years old when it happened. I have only seen destruction in person once and that was the 2003 Moore tornado. I live in Texas and pray to never experience it for myself. A debris ball is different from a tornado width or damage track. A debris ball is using radar reflectivity that reflects unnatural objects in the air instead of rain, and these objects could have been lofted 1/2 mile away or more on every side of the tornado. This is a better indicator of intensity than size.

This must be just north of interstate 80 where it was in Shelby going towards Avoca?

Dang, I hope Harlan Iowa is OK. One day I plan to take a road trip there and want to get a shirt from the Harlan Golf and Country Club. 🤞

Is that as big as El Reno? At first I was skeptical but the more I watched I wouldn't be shocked 😮

I believe this tornado was the same one Max Velocity was covering and one of his chasers found a house where an elderly woman had been hurt as her house was completely demolished 😔 and today (saturday) may be worse with that moderate risk in place...
