lol, you are really good at setting up stories…. I love the set up of Mike Tyson dating someone’s daughter. that was just good storytelling. And no, we did not have cell phones back in the 80s. Documentaries were rare too. If you wanted a documentary, you probably had to watch PBS. Back in that time, everyone had things called TV guides. Those were small magazines published monthly that told you the TV schedule of when particular show or movie would come on. If you were lucky enough to own a VCR, and smart enough to program it, you could set the VCR to record a particular show. But half the time if you miss your show, then you have to wait quite a while to see it again again.
They honestly destroyed one of the greatest fighters we’ve ever seen if cus d amato and Kevin Rooney would have stayed around Tyson his record would be twice as long the fact that he went to prison and go caught up with all these bad actors ultimately was his downfall this is why he is still considered the greatest fighter of all time in my eyes
