As an Australian, I used to have so much respect for the US. I thought they were intelligent, powerful and universally respected by all! @@mikerommel8295 yeah… well… it’s actually 10.44 percent where I live. it’s so crazy that Louisiana has some of the highest tax rates and some of the poorest communities in the u.s… absolutely ridiculous. A lot of us Louisianans go to Texas to buy big stuff like mobile homes or vehicles because you can save sooo much money and that obviously loses business in louisiana. A 2 1/2 hr drive is worth it. I know so many people personally that have moved to Texas for better financial footings and freedom to put their money where they want to.
As a Texan I approve this message.
