I've been an Activa rider for about 6years now, no complaints about them until this day. My last version was a 5g deluxe.
The only reason I don't want to buy 6g is-it doesn't have a digital cluster (if that is what you call. I'm not sure about the technical word for that part where it displays time and milage in digital format).
I was looking for a good scooter to buy by the end of this month. Which is the latest in Activa 125? Is bs6 the latest version? Thanks in advance! ☺️

I purchased Ntorq in January. Rode it for around 3000 Kms. Awesome pick up. Mileage is decent if not the best. Front foot well is less, Seating is not much comfortable as you will keep on sliding to the front. But Road grip and balance is good and you will enjoy riding it for the power it delivers. It's the best in its segment.

TVS is the first company in scooters to have Alloy wheels, Telescopic suspension, 12' tyres, External fuel filling, Instrumental Console with Bluetooth connectivity, USB charger, Engine Kill Switch, Kick start without putting centre stand, Autochoke, 3Valve, etc which rest of the scooters still doesn't have most of the features.

Is it true that activa is short sighted and eventually starts vibrating and suspension doesn't stay that good for long ? Also is metal body of activa responsible for that ? So brings me to my next question, should I buy fibre body over metal ? Am confused between access n activa 125 bs6
I loved the features of NTORQ and I would have definitely purchased it. But when you take a test drive, the front leg space is extremely less and your knees will end up touching the dashboard..which is really sad. Finally considering all the pros and cons I settled down with ACTIVA 125..
My height is 5'10" i drive my sister's NTORQ. Even if I sit at the very edge of seat. My knee never touches the front dashboard. It's made that way at an angle, their is so much knee room.

You should buy a camel, it would better suit you.
@@ssovereign8022 the day you face an accident on NTORQ, is the day you'll damage your Knees the most. In that case you might definitely need a camel because you won't be in the position to ride a cycle either.

I own a NTORQ since its launch, had that first scooter delivered to my place and rode it around 20k kms till date.
A lot pros like great control, good shock absorbers, peppy engine pickup and amazing styling.
But that said it has ton of cons too
Hight maintenance costs
Low fuel efficiency (25-30kmpl)
Auto choke is the biggest issue, it just don’t work fine
Lockset will become stiff overtime and have to get it changed
False fuel meter display
With all these cons and owning an activa 6g too
My verdict is clearly to go with activa
Yes it looks good, yes its runs great, but it’ll be very frustrating on the days it won’t start due to autochoke issue and if it does start its gonna burn petrol like crazy.
I would like to suggest you.
When I purchased this NTORQ from the showroom itself the mechanics said to unplug the autochoke. It is the main reason for mileage drop.
You should unplug the autochoke if your NTORQ have one. Bcoz mine is not fuel injected. It's normal carburettor.
From June 2019 I am using NTORQ. And mileage is around 40 kmpl.
And lockset becomes stiff that is an issue.
But whenever you feel like key is hard to twist. Use the second key provided.
I did that and found that the old key was getting worn. You can oil the lockset anytime you feel stiff

I’ll definitely check if it auto-choke issue can be solved by unplugging it.
Also if unplugged, will it work fine in winter mornings? Coz i guess that’s the time choke is needed.
Ps. Update on the experience fuel economy is still an issue and plastic parts are fall like biscuits dipped in tea in minor touch in bumper to bumper traffic and parts are hard to find.

@@karthiksk9778 I’m getting about 35-37 kmpl in city and 42-45 kmpl on the highways. Mine is BS-IV version, so the mileage isn’t that great. But keeping with the performance that it provides, it doesn’t hurt much. Although the mileage of the scooter has increased drastically now on the BS-VI versions, but it lacks that little kick which the BS-IV versions provide.
I'll buy acess 125.
We've three acess scooter in my family..

Using Ntorq first gen. from more than a year now and i feel it's best in terms of performance and features. Mileage is good but not the best, space is little less. I love the aesthetics and i feel every youngster will love it.

I think NTORQ is best among all... I was using Activa earlier but now brought NTORQ last oct and really happy with its performance... Onky one dwnside is its seat is little small for two passengers specially if a lady seats behind.

Nice, detailed review.
But few points I don't agree with you are
1. Battery voltage meter is a good addition coz fuel injection won't work when the battery is dead. So one can keep an eye on battery life
2. You should have compared and told us which scooter has the best headlight in terms of visibility. I think LED lights are just good to look at but when it comes to performance halogen bulbs are better and traditionally Honda's have worst performing headlamps
3. It's subjective but the Activa's rear looks like a cow's backside somehow

Have been using Activa 125 for last 4 years. Initially, it was good but now a days things are different. Huge maintenance cost and performance has gone down. Worst part that the parts are not easily available even at Honda authorised service center, customer has to wait for many days.

Access 125 is just the best. Test drive one for 10 mins and u r bound to be impressed. Its best for all kinds of roads. It has the most punchy feel and has most practicality on offer as well. The new Fascino is also a good scooter.

If you are a solo rider or a racer who is looking for futuristic features and an aggressive design where mileage doesn't mean anything to you then you should better go for TVS Ntorq 125.
If you a rider who is looking for a family scooter with useful and good features like side stand engine cutoff, silent start system, etc. with good mileage and of course, great build quality then you should go for Honda Activa 125.
But if you are a rider who is looking for a performance scooter, not with great futuristic specs but with the largest and comfy seat, biggest footboard, biggest under-seat storage, and lightest weight in the segment and which is very best for family and commuting on the roads with traffics, then you should blindly go for Suzuki Access 125.

I own both Activa 125 (1st generation) and Ntorq (race edition) My honest ownership review is:
When you ride Ntorq it feels like 125cc machine there is some extra juice inside it whereas Activa won’t give you that extra cc’s feel!!
But with good performance comes overheating
Ntorq’s engine will heat even in small distances and slow speeds!! Although it won’t hamper your ride as it’s in the back but still it overheats whereas Activa engine never overheated even after long rides (around 60 70 km)
I am using Ntorq for an year now, I don’t have any over heating issues though.

Please upload a comparison video between the HONDA DIO DX 110CC BS VI and the HONDA ACTIVA 125 BS VI. I have searched it very vigorously but of no use. There were videos which compared the Activa 6G and the Activa 125. But, I need the comparison between the DIO DLX and the Activa 125 both top notch versions.
