If the “Eject or Die” light is lit in the outlane then the ball will be saved by the magnet. At which time you have only a few seconds to hit the eject stand up target in the center of the playfield. If you fail to hit the target your flippers go dead and ball drains.

When and how does the magnet ball save kick in? Cant figure out what makes it "grab" vs just letting a ball go through.
