You have ATI Harmonic Balancer in this video? Crazy revs for 89mm stroke.. Did engine survive? Video is 4 years old.

Hello, are you using a different harmonic balancer? I would also rev to 8k, but there has to be something done here, the 3.0 crank doesn't like being revved high safely. Oil pump upgraded? What have you done to her?

How the heck are you able to rev so high with a stock valvetrain?
Pretty sure it's a non vanos head. The non vanos head is heavy duty from the factory and has double valve springs for whatever reason. Supposedly can rev to 8500.
So are you using a M50 or an m54 ? Because i have an m54b30 and id like to make it turbo
