  • In this video Michael is dealing with a seat bottom that has a torn MB-Tex cover and broken springs. To repair, he'll be disassembling the seat bottoms from two separate assemblies and swapping out parts to make one good, presentable seat bottom.     Great set of videos! Any fixes up your sleeve for fixing broken springs if you don’t have a better base?

      Hello Eric, I'm looking at removing my seat, sagging etc. I'm not sure why it couldn't be welded but I do not see why a steel crimp couldn't be added to connect the two pieces together. For extra measure, tack weld the crimp. I have yet to try such a thing should I come across the broken spring thing.
