We just stayed here. Spa and all restaurants were open. Food was honestly some of the best I’ve had. Pizza by the ocean was outstanding. Service and the events were great.

My wife and I stayed there May 12, 2024 and it was a lot of fun. Food was average I guess. I mean the steaks we had were very good but I make better steaks myself. Lobster was ok but I wanted just steamed lobster and lemon and never could get them to serve me that, always some type of creation and it was smothered in some type of sauce which I washed or wiped off. Room was really nice, drank all the cokes I could, we did not even open the upgraded bottles in the room as we had the full access to all the places there. Room service was ok, ordered a complete dinner extremely late at night even past midnight I was getting stuff made fresh so hey it was a great experience.

We've stayed at the Grand Paraiso (in Villas both times) the past two years and absolutely love it there, but the prices have sky-rocketed this year (like thousands more than the previous year), so this year we're reconsidering our annual trip to the Grand. It would be great to get a comparison between the Grand Paraiso and the Excellence PM. Love your videos!!

Wow I went and stayed 14 days. Everything was 5 stars. The food couldn’t have been any better. Thai, Indian, steakhouse, Mexican, Japanese Kobe style. Buffet for breakfast had everything, it was totally amazing. The drinks, I couldn’t eat or drink anything after the 11 th day. Too much. Just ate very lightly salads, and fruits. I can’t say enough about this resort. And we took 2 day trips to the Isle Mujeres, rented a golf cart and drove around the island. It was the best resort I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend Definitely younger crowd, newlyweds etc. Hilarious to seat at the bar and watch the young couple on their honeymoon, and you watched her makeup melting off her face onto her shoulders and dress. I would say go light on the foundation. Best time at a resort 5 Star 🌟

Yea had the worst water conditions when I was there as well - completely murky, full of seaweed and unswimmable. Was awesome booking scuba where they just picked you up from the beach though. Had a swim out by the spa, which was relaxing due to that zen music broadcasting from there all day 😂 All-in-all wouldn’t go back for that money though. Biggest tell for me isn’t the liquor, it’s the buffet. Food quality at this one was completely average every day.
I have seen that the Majestic and TRS Coral are also excellent hotels in costa mujeres, I hope you have the opportunity to visit them and make a comparison between those 3 hotels.
I have stayed at the Majestic, we had an ocean front honeymoon suite. Yes we loved it. But the food quality was not there. The coffee was the best each morning we had espresso at the coffee bar, amazing coffee. Excellence is much more of a 5 star resort. I can’t say enough about Excellence 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We stayed at the Majestic in the Dominican Republic. We stayed once in Tulum, and 1 week at Secrets We had hurricane Wilma 2005 We had only been at the resort 3 days when we were told a hurricane was coming that night. They said don’t worry, shut the hurricane shutters, and everything will be fine. I woke up in the midddle of the night and we had a lot of water in our suite, no electricity. Then woke up later, no electricity, dangerous water in the suite. Stay on the bed for 4 days. They came by and brought sandwiches, fruit, bottled water, twice a day. Anyway long story short Air Transat was the first airline to get into Cancan, we were recused, the airport was not really running, no radar etc. No security, just army wearing Ar 15. We got to go to Toronto and later a flight to Vancouver. Well it was an experience that I will never forget. And things changed after this for the Canadian airlines. Of course now if a Hurricane or extreme weather is coming to a resort you are going to, you can change your flight and resort, or go at another time. We left on a Sunday night arrived on a Monday morning, hurricane 🌀 came 3 days later, of course everyone new the was a hurricane coming, the airline, weather analysts. So now you are covered. I got money back from my insurance, trip disruption. So the next year we went to the Majestic DR. Don’t go to the Caribbean or Mexico between April to end of October, Hurricane season. We were there middle of October.

That’s so hard to say!!! Honestly the best food weve had at an all inclusive was The Grand at Moon Palace. But their beach isn’t great and it’s not adults only. Their sister resort Le Blanc had very good food but very expensive. We did a review on that one too. I heard Unico has great food
We have stayed at EPC, EOB, ERC and yes my BIGGEST complaint would be the lack of doors and walls for the bathroom. Don't get it but lots of resorts are like this including every Excellence. Still and all we absolutely LOVE Excellence resorts.

So hard to pick!! We have loved different things about each resort. We are going back to Barcelo Maya Riviera in November bc for the price it was the best match!! Going to do a video on that next month after I return from our next trip at the end of July
Anything along these lines that will take teens? I love an all inclusive but am tired of the ones catering to families with littles. But I can’t find anything for families traveling with older teens.I don’t need babysitting or kiddie shows. Id love a teen lounge, etc.
Can you share what dates you were there and when they expect construction to be done? We’re looking at going in April but this may deter me. We loved unico 20 87 back in 2020

Which adult only all inclusive would you say has the best food? At these price points, that’s a huge focus for us.

I haven’t been to excellence riviera Maya but excellence plays Mujeres was better than Barcelo in my opinion but more expensive

I def agree!! The only one I know of is Atelier they allow 16 and up but no teen lounge. We need to start our own resort like this lol
