- Interview with HIM frontman VILLE VALO right after he won the Finnish Grammy Award (Emma) in the category "Music video of the Year" for "Olet Mun Kaikuluotain". Recorded at Emma Gaala on 4th of Febraury 2017 in "Barona Areena" in Espoo, Finland. VILLE tells us why he would like to cut his trophy in half and what his plans with HIM are.

If you notice his body language, he tries his best to give a good interview and make the interviewer understand him , finnish and especially Helsinki accent which Ville is using isn't the easy , but kudos to Ville for breaking it down in a nice way :-)
Hi, I somehow thought in Finnland don't exist "accents" (do you mean dialects?), ecept in the part of the country were the Sami live. Do people in Helsinki speak with a own dialect or a dialect that is used in the south of Finland? Do they have a dialect only spoken in Helsinki? Like some people from Berlin speak with a Berlin dialect.
There are many dialects in Finland, and yes, people in Helsinki have their own words and way of pronunciation. (And not only Helsinki, lots of areas and cities have their own dialect)
Its a common joke that if you live up north, you don't understand what the people in Helsinki are talking about.
