Good Evening Sir. Radhe Radhe. In concept notes for May 2024 on Page no 34 a para is given Tax shall be levied on advance as well for supply of goods as actionable claims. So date of receipt of payment shall also be considered in such cases. Could you please explain it.

I have doubt in the last case. When goods supplied after change of tax, invoice issued before change of tax but payment received after change of tax, why is time of supply considered date of payment instead of date of issue of invoice

Because supply too made after change of tax rate

When goods are supplied after change of tax, TOS is the date of payment or invoice whichever is later. Exc - if payment rec within 4 days from the date of change of tax
