I think you should have mentioned about the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian Genocides that happened in 1915 as this was one of the bloodiest events in the entire war. Armenian alone lost from 1-1.5 million people to the Ottomans

They mention Australia, and sometimes even New Zealand, but nary a word, about ...
Canada defeating the central(axis) powers, and taking ground in only days, (by creatively changing the tactics of how the war was fought)...where french and British, and other Allies spent months of failing over and over....
How Canada held strong during the first (of many)gas attacks.
Or because of mastering night raids on the enemy's trenches, made the Germans fear when the Canadians were brought up to the lines..
They were all simply, “Tommies.” That changed after the Battle of the Somme, when German troops, astonished by the bravery and the speed of the Canadians, started calling them *Sturmtruppen (storm troopers).*
