Dom is literally the biggest loser on social media. He needs to be held legally responsible for wasting law enforcements time, money and resources. And shame on Alex for striking that guys channel.
The Tesla was literally a rental...how do they not know who rented it!? And there no way Alex Choi doesn't know who the driver was. How he's been acting and dancing round the situation even though he literally filmed, edited, uploaded and gotten tons of attention from it then claims he doesn't know who did it. No f@cking way.

Still can't believe the entire situation. First like, someone actually did that! Someone took a Tesla and tried to make it fly because they saw someone else do it. And do we even know who the actual person who did it is?
Also The fact that Durte Dom lied and said it was him makes it even worse, since, 1. It's not something to brag about(which it seemed like he was trying to). 2. Him lying makes the police use their resources to try and find and investigate him. Time and resources that could have been used to find the actual person who did it. And 3. It was like he was trying to make it a joke, when it clearly wasn't. If you have watched the video, everyone is filming and laughing, people are leaving to not get involved and the driver just runs away. Making it a Hit-And-Run.

Yes I'm sure the 40 minutes spent with Dom has really hindered the investigation. The Tesla wrecked was rented. I'm sure this case will be resolved very soon if it hasn't already.

Also, Dominykas, since that’s what we’re calling you now, there’s a difference between facing charges in court and being legally responsible or having a moral responsibility to others to clean up the mess we make for them. You should have seen Alex Choi’s snarky remarks when he donated. I think Alex should be held responsible to some extent because it was his Tesla event and he followed and recorded the whole event (I would hold anyone who went to watch honestly responsible) because it was obvious what was going to happen.

Hmm. I wonder what California's MMJ laws are when it comes to promoting. Because in the state I work in (I am a compliance clerk) you can't promote the over consumption of MMJ. If he's promoting his own brand with over consumption, depending on California's guidelines, he could be fined potentially.. 🤔

@@stephaniec8771 it depends on the state. But, if he's promoting his cannabis products on CZcams he has to age restrict it to 21 and older I believe, according to me briefly reviewing the states laws on advertising. Every states laws are different.
Alex didn't strike the video because of that comment- which was posted AFTER the copyright strike- he clearly struck it because everybody was talking about it, and he wanted to make sure that they had to watch HIS video if they wanted to see it.
At first I wasn't blaming alex AT ALL for what happened, but watching him get all hyped on it throughout his video, then he put that part in where his friend called the tesla driver "a legend", then the obviously fake emotional portion of the video where he claimed to be choked up by how dangerous it was, when he actually seemed choked up with pride and excitement... followed by his insistence that he didn't know dude was going to jump, AFTER he had already said in his video that they followed him there, and come on! They all got out of their cars and got their cameras ready! For what, if he had no clue what was about to happen?? And the cherry on top: copyright striking the victim's video, THEN claiming that his own video isn't even monetized... 🙄 I'm getting a real snakey and exploitative vibe from him... I'm also not convinced that he doesn't know who did the jump, and I kinda hope he gets busted for it, just because I think he's a lying liar with his pants on fire

Since eating edibles and then driving isn't legal the better thing to do would have been to pretend like you believed that he really crashed that tesla. People would have brought it to the attention of police and the he'd have had to explain to them why he publicly claimed to commit a crime if he actually didn't.

If you make a claim on your insurance it will make your premium go up for years unless you have the person who hit you insurance information. I mean with that video evidence he could possibly try to get it covered.

Why is anybody donating any money what-so-ever? The owner of the Tesla should pay for damages, and if he wants his own Tesla fixed - he should file a claim or pay for it himself if insurance refuses to cover it, which is likely.
People aren’t donating to the owner of the Tesla, they’re donating to the innocent owner of the car the Tesla crashed into. Also, the person who drove the Tesla still hasn’t been found yet, they can’t be held responsible until they’re found.

Why would that dude need a gofundme for his car? If someone else crashed into his parked car then that persons insurance would pay to fix his car or replace it. Period. Even if it takes time to figure out who did it.
It was a hit and run. If the police can't find the culprit, that person cannot pay.
My coworker recently had his car hit, but since the person driving the other car wasn’t the owner/on the insurance, their insurance company wouldn’t pay for the damage. He was told he’d have to file a civil claim in order to get any money for fixing the damage. Welcome to American insurance.
