Luang Phabang is a city in north central Laos, consisting of 58 adjacent villages, of which 33 comprise the UNESCO Town Of Luang Prabang World Heritage Site. It was listed in 1995 for unique and "remarkably" well preserved architectural, religious and cultural heritage, a blend of the rural and urban developments over several centuries, including the French colonial influences during the 19th and 20th centuries.

Beautiful. The young ones are novices, not full-fledged monks. (One has to be 21 years old to become a monk.) Many of the novices will leave the temple at some point -- upon graduating from high school, for example -- and return to secular life. My source for this is a friend who was an 18-year-old novice when I met him in Luang Prabang in 2011. He is now a secular teacher in Muang sing.

For morning and evening chant your start with: Abraham Samma-sambuddho bhagava. You bow three times for Buddha, Dhamma,sangha. After is Namo tassa X3 before you start the pray for recollection of the budddha.
I also thought it was the first part as growing up OGs made us memorize this. This is my second year in Phansa and am learning proper chanting etiquette

I'm lao and when I was young they had a small bottle of water and they poor it to this cup and I herd them saying this before.

Monks Nice But Buddha is Buddha the only real true god is jesus Buddha is Buddha jesus is the only god if I wanna pray Buddha I will just stair at it cause is not even a god why would I pray to a man!?
i attend many churches, temples, as that of many religion to understand and not make judgement, just to learn and understand
We are not worship to buddha, and worship to buddha, as you know, it is a sin if you pray to buddha, the mantra and chanting is just a homage to buddha
