Such a beautiful voice. Her vibrato is really amazing.
Anne has already sang for Aurora. Only for her. Aurora was sitting on the floor across from her and Anne sang "All is soft inside" (an Aurora original) for her.
Anne is one of Aurora's favorite artists. And Anne surprised her with it.
In some way, Ane Brun reminds me of haunted Edith Piaf. Ane's vibrato is incredible, and taken together with those emotive pauses, she draws and channels deep emotions.

Ane Brun covered AURORA's "All is Soft Inside," for Aurora, who listened and was deeply moved. Ane's cover brought out the folk elements in Aurora's song. This is part of NRK's 2019 HAIK event featuring AURORA (with special guests).
I had this small epiphany. By discovering that I had placed this song on my autumn playlist - and that it does not belong during spring (for me). Highly subjective, border-lining on insanity, of course). But it happens once in a while that a song anchors itself seasonally to my soul. It is annually gorgeous, though.
I also thought of her voice like a warm blanket a couple of days ago when I listened to "Last breath" :-)

Another one of those great voices from our neighbours in Norway (I'm in Sweden). Generally not a huge fan of stripped down performances, but a few artists have managed to win me over in the last few years (Aurora, anyone?). Once again I feel compelled to suggest Swedish artist Ionnalee and her beautifully shot live performance of "Dunes Of Sand" in an almost empty church.
