Hi, Came across your Video and you sound pretty Good. I listen to the one you were playing 1956 Gretsch Silverjet and in the empty warehouse. I just got a Guitar last week ( Squier Strat ) and I love playing I have been taking online lesson and Practicing 2-3 or more hours a day ( i'm retired) My fingers are sore and numb. lol. but any way keep it up you sound really good!
Wow, thanks so much for the kind words! Really cool that you are taking up guitar. Keep up the practice for sure. The fingers will build up callouses pretty quickly with that amount of playing each day. Where are you taking your lessons, and what type of music do you hope to play? Thanks again!
@@SteveWoodyMusic Fender has a special you sign up for a year of online lessons ($149.99) and they give you a free Squier Guitar, frontman 10G amp, cord, case, stand, picks, tuner, everything you need to play. I know they are the cheaper line, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money and not like it. so far, I'm loving it. you choose what kind of music you want to learn I chose the Blues. I'm really likening the online lessons the way they teach you is cool; you learn some cords and then they teach you a Riff then you learn to read music, I already learn to read notes, TAB , the ABC's of Guitar, a few power chords ect. the latest Riff is from Muddy Water, Mannish Boy. they have 9 levels with around 19 Course's each and i'm on level 2, Course 10. I'm sure they have more to learn after level 9 . hopefully I'll learn to play decent and buy another Guitar or two or three. lol. I see from your videos you been playing for a long time, keep it up you sound good!

I started May 2nd 2000 during my senior year of high school. Still one of my favorite things in the world.
