Two things I've noticed from this. First, Ninja died quite a bit in these games although in some of the games deaths weren't as important as they were in others. Secondly, I'd like it if the presenters commentated a bit more rather than get the mic action because it soon becomes gobble-di-goop after a while.
I also find it pleasing and actually keeping it alive and spirited. Some things are just so funny. Not to be taken to seriously, and it is still only a game, remember? Are you guys like babies? You gotta be able to take a joke or two, right? Or are we deadly serious? I would think that would be just that, dead, if there was no trash talk. Try to enjoy the scene instead, I believe at least they like it.
Correct, I'm nowhere near up to their playing standard, I haven't got a problem with that. A bit of banter is fine too. Just thought that was a bit strong for gaming...
Thanks for the great tournament. Don't let the MLG band-wagon folks tell you other-wise. It was a great show. Perhaps next time StrongSide can bring in his Halo 4 Ford Raptor and they can commentate from the bed of the truck? ;)
Thats wrong they didn't show stats. I bet several of ambush had more than fifty kills. There was like a minute and a half or more of them just slaying.
You mean the competitiveness is awesome? What do you think Basketball, Football , Hockey players, etc are all saying to each other during the game? You just don't get to hear it because it's on live tv. Michael Jordan was a psychological ninja on and off the court. Kevin Garnett told Carmelo Anthony that his wife tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios during a game once and then Carmelo had one of his worst shooting games of his career that night and his team lost haha it's part of competition. These games are for a lot of money and emotions are high. I'm sure after the tournament they all get along.
these guys are also really all friends. they play with each other everyday. they do this to get into their opponents head. trash talk isn't really looked down on in pro halo because its literally part of the game. it also fires up the crowd, almost like cheerleading.
Its not poor sportsmanship if it stays on the battlefield. Its the head game. You fire someone up so they play worse while also rallying your team because they see you fired up and doing well. Its an energy game, everyone feeds positive and negative energy. Trash talk is a huge part of all competitive sports.
Some of the matches are still fun to watch just these commentators did very little commentating to keep you into the game. I do like listen ins but not for the whole match. Better commentating = funner games to watch at least thats my opinion. lol no "trolling" here
