I love ur videos
About the "no perspective" style- Adding a shadow already Indicates some kind of depth
Was going to say that too, if he didn’t add the drop shadow it would have been flat with no perspective. Once he made it look 3D that adds the depth and perspective although it’s not a linear or point projection perspective. There is still depths perspective in the piece.
@@akkadiansprayart that's just a shadow but there is no perspective of the actual shape (or letter in this case) so although the drawing has a shadow, the art itself has no sides; therefore having no perspective.
What a nice way to show people, i love how you improved your art!
We did this a lot when i studied architecture, another good way of learning perspective and light is to set up different types of cubes on your table and light them from different angles and try to draw them from different perspectives... I learned so much about perspective that way, we actually had to do that for hours...
Omg, I just did a video on perspective and vanishing points! Haha. But, of course Doke has done one million times better. You’re a champion, man. Good video!
You're that guy from that serp video
Holly shit ur everywhere lol
Baku12 Yeah! He reviewed my stuff, it was awesome. I’m going to do a response video to feed in his suggestions. I’m pretty pumped about it.
yes this is so true, I always think about what are my possibilities with perspective while planning my sketches

Bruh that just changed my game for real, thanks man!
Thanks for making my quarantine so much better
Absolutely love your channel my friend. I am from Northern Ireland which on the side of so many houses in my country there is art and political art at that. But growing up as a kid I loved looking at it and wondering how it was done. I turned to art about 4 years ago to help me with PTSD as I served in the British Army and was rendered disabled after having my spine shattered and crushed on an operational tour. But I think channels like yours are so important because so many people look at graffiti and think it is just kids making a mess with paint. However they have no idea the amazing level of skill that is invested into the work and a lot of people don’t even class it as art, yet I think it is absolutely Art but a very complicated art at that.
I think graffiti artists such as yourself are amazingly skilled. I have tried so many times to do graffiti style art in my sketchbook and it looks terrible every time so I wouldn’t even dream of scaling it up onto a wall. I think Graffiti artists just like tattoo artists are so over looked and deserve all the recognition of a famous oil painter or watercolor artist. Love your work my friend and think it is amazing
Awesome comment. Hope you're doing well and I pray you find BIG success in all your endevors. Good luck my friend & god bless!

I like that those posts are straight up. It emphasises the letters more.
thank you very much. never really thought of a perspective point. my designs are a lot more symmetrical and perfect. looks so damn good I'm thinking about making a shirt with it. lol
Ah yes! The artschool basics! Good video tho! Many people dont actually know this, so teaching this is crucial.
I've found that drawing realistic 3D people correctly and portraits are some of the most challenging thing's. Would love to see something like that also incorporated into your painting
Awesome tips n trick thanks bro 😏👌🏼👊🏼💯
Awesome video, explained nice and simple with FECKING awesome artworks! Huge thumb up
this is your nexl lvl bro. Have fun!
You are crazy man 😂😂❤️👏🏻👏🏻
Very good video, thanks for the explanation! I will improve with that, for sure. 👍

Bro. Thank you for this.
BAD ASS WORK BRUV 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍
In art class:i draw weak art
In a boring class:i draw amazing art work
Epick work !
Hi DOKE your art is amazing!🎨
A while back I discovered that shadows look really nice when they're connected to a light source as if it were another perspective point
No doubt! Learned that from looking @ Dali paintings.
Also, you can have multiple objects with different perspectives to give the effect of different rotations
love using vanishing points !!!
so would love to see you try a twisted theme!!
damn bro you killed it 🔥
Increasing perspective , makes it crazier 🤣
yet again doke has provided us with a legendary video. papa bless
Nice introduction to Perspective, the third version was probably made famous made Erni from NY back in the early 80's on the Trains, the last perspective look no further than the master of it Daim who in the early 90's completely owned this style.
Would be nice to see a water reflection piece
I’ve got an idea for your next I try video. You should try painting like snap on metal parts. So it looks like they are screwed onto the wall and it’d be pretty dope if you could try to do some like bullet holes in it or something like that.
that was so helpful...thanks DokeTV...
I've been an artist my whole life, but I'm always a student, great video.
Great video ! Would love to see 4 examples in Non graffiti. 👍🏼👍🏼
You!!!!!
(3:44) for the 1 point perspectif, horizontal lines stay horizontaly, vertical's one stay verticaly, it's only the depth line that follow the point
(10:xx) boom ! blow my mind !
Perspective is a fundamental skill, very important
Thanks it helped me a lot
Thank you good video as always

The one skill to improve everything is PRACTICE get it right
so true. first time ive facepalmed here
if you practice with a better understanding you will improve faster
Welcome to the artist block gang! Where people follow the rules of art
BRO I AM UR BIGGEST FAN 😊😊😊😊😊
You just explained perspective to me better than my art teacher
Thx for the tip keep it up
To me personally, those lamp posts being messed up only add some touch into overall surreal painting
Perspective the key to the universe.
Eat a Doughnut every time Doke mentions the word perspective
you have improved tremendously in past year, complete different person now
No 5-point Perspective or Curvilinear Perspective?
You did a good job explaining/demonstrating these.
Keep up the good work!
Yeah but he made some mistakes
He admits to them - we all make mistakes, it's a way of life, learning and getting better is what really matters.
And at least he's trying to help.
You should redefine what you call no perspective as projection. Images that appear flat are parallel projections, as they lack depth and appear 2D. Your shadow example would be an orthographic projection, as the opposing faces of the body have the same dimensions; though in the case of a shadow there is no solid body, just two faces.
There's also a blurred line between orthographic projection and perspective when depth is extremely shallow, which is why perspective-based art typically relies on depth of field. This blurred line also becomes further blurred when using text with a shadow, as you only have two planes and not a solid body. Combining the two makes it even worse, as now you have a shadow with a shallow depth, where a shadow in perspective shrinks in depth, you're now removing that depth, which would allow a shadow in perspective to look like an orthographic projection. It's an issue of interpretation when there's a lack of information to process, which is why shallow perspective can appear as an orthographic projection, and why shadows have a similar issue between the two.
Also don't forget about 4, 5, and 6 point perspectives.
this was very educational
You make my day with your fantastic and interesting video . I learn a lot of thing
From you
Thanks you
When you check to see if the dog was hiding it 😂 subscribed
Well the thing is that I already learned this kinda stuff in my school and I pretty much mastered it when I saw it, I tried to draw buildings because that is what we had to do and I fell in love with, it's so easy to draw this and it just makes so much difference on a picture, just a problem was that it was kinda hard, for me back then, to draw the shadows so it looked pretty shitty xD
Doke: Makes tutorial on how to do perspective.
Me: I’ll listen though I know how cause I want to give him ad-revenue
You know you have to watch ads for him to get ad revenue? Crazy I know
I know, in the beginning and end of the video it showed ads, Crazy Right, who would’ve thought
Also, there are three ads during the video, crazy right
Almost first XD This helped me tnxxxxx :D
You should defintely try this on a wall!
