I think Jack is 28. After watching your videos, I've decided to add saltwater fishing to my list of dreams!! So many colorful fish and such life in the ocean!!
10 meter tides. The same as we have here in my backyard on Annapolis Basin, Canada's east coast. But our winters are too cold for mangroves or crocodiles. We have a kilometer of mud flat at low tide with a big clamming industry and waves breaking at the forest's edge above a rocky shore when it's high. Not as spectacular as the Kimberleys. And wow. So many big exotic fish.

Why aren't you going after the crab when the tide goes out? This is the easiest way to find Mud Crabs... finding the small air holes that are on the surface... where the mud crabs are hiding directly underneath. Your brother Jack is 48 years old (that's my guess).
