    Where is your life raft and epirb in order to comply with your general category permit ?

    • @MyFishingCapeCod
      @MyFishingCapeCod  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi Mike! When I caught this fish several years ago I was under the impression I did not need to have a life raft, epirb and survival suits because I was fishing just a couple miles offshore and it was during warm-weather season. I very well may have been completely incorrect in my thinking at the time. Regardless it's the last fish I sold on my little boat, as I now do all my tuna fishing on larger vessels that have all the safety gear. If I decide to tuna fish again on the boat you see in this video, then you can rest assured it will have all the required equipment. Thanks for the comment!

      Hey you caught the bluefin. But ya have to cut the gills to bleed out and get him in asap and ice him down. My buyer takes the core temp. I was talking about the buyer. Should have had better system and knife and a tub to put the fish in. I know its hard to get the fish into a small boat but ya get more $$$$ if the fish is taking better care of. ?
